no tournament schedule

I like the concept of the game but am i missing something? i dont see any tournaments scheduled at all. I'm not sure why i pay the 9.95 per month at this point if there are not tournaments and no trainer game. Please advise.

thanks.

Tournaments start next week

Your a VIP for many reasons. 1) most players will soon be down graded to just pre-built races. 2) VIP 's can earn 4000-points per day and soon we are raising to 5000 points per day (next week) 3) VIP 's get more horses every month (you should of got some already this month) 4) Points are the key to entering tournaments and the best way to get points is play in community mode as a VIP. 5) More the 50% of the tournaments will only be open to VIPs.

There will also be many other benefits as well. It just all takes time

Thanks for playing our Horse racing game and being a VIP it will be worth it ..BIG TIME

VIP- THE ONLY WAY TO GO

Tournamnets will start in less then 2 weeks . VIP's earn a lot more points per day (up to 5000) when others max out a 1000.
also you will get 6-8 pre built races per month (the first file you should have already received today)
VIP's get 40-60 new community horses every month (June going out by friday)
VIP's get bonus point days for just playing (starts this weekend )
Vip's get to build and keep full past performance on all horses they race (Non VIP's will after the trial period be limited to 2 PP lines)
VIP's will have tournaments just for VIP's (better prizes)

We are a young company (all working 2 jobs) to support our dream )
You will be very happy at the end of the day. If you ned anything please just ask me . If you want you can also send me a privite message

Past performance Lines (the full story)

Past Performances

I have received several emails and private messages from our horse racing game players asking questions about the race horses' past performance lines. So, I thought I would clarify this issue. Past performance lines are created as you play the game. You build those past performances lines each time you run a particular horse. Part of the fun of the game is to build as many past performance lines as you can on each horse under different scenarios. This will allow you to truly identify the strengths and weaknesses of all the horses. This is very important when you are playing in community mode. The more information you have on a horse, the easier it is to pick the right horse to jockey or bet on. When you pick the right horse to jockey or bet on in community mode, you're earning points. The more points you earn, the more currency you have in our game for tournament entries and currency to be utilized in our store discounting all items. Earn enough points, items are free.

Even on the real champion horse race files you purchase, past performance lines are not included because in real life, real horses' past performance lines will change as they continue to race. What we do is build each horse to follow his real life running style, so if you're familiar with that champion race horse, then right from the start, you pretty much know what distance, track surface, class and even racetracks he should perform best at. Even in the game, to confirm all this, you need to build past performance lines.

Think of the whole thing as a puzzle. Whether it's a community horse (fictitious) or a past/current champion race horse, the more races you run (whether in private or community mode), the more pieces of the puzzles are put together. I know a lot of people that run a ton of races in private mode to build up past performance lines so when they switch to community mode (switching to community mode is done from the control located in the top left-hand section of the Race Setup screen that says "Switching Players"), they have a good understanding of the horse's ability and can win at a high win percentage in community mode and look like superstars in the community and thus maximize the number of points they earn in the game.

Let me also clarify past performances on prebuilt races. Prebuilt races are races that we have built, either duplicating with the real racing contenders live events that have happened, or fictitious prebuilt races containing both real champion horses and fictitious community horses. In a prebuilt race, the conditions are completely set. You cannot change the distance, you cannot change the contenders. We do not build past performance lines on prebuilt races. It would not make sense to do so. So, when you run a prebuilt race over and over, yes, you can change the post positions. Yes, you can actually even scratch horses. And, yes, you can adjust their attributes or trait variabilities (all this can only be done in private mode so the states do not report to the community), but we do not build past performance lines on the prebuilt races.

Another good reason to keep building past performance lines as quickly as you can is because when we start user tournaments in less than two weeks (tournaments are for jockeying and betting), the more you know about the horses, the better chance you have to earn the most amount of points as a jockey or bettor. I know plenty of players who have built 10-15 past performance lines on every horse they have and even more.

One last point, first and foremost, I suggest that everyone read the section under Game and Community Info called Handicapper's Guide to Horse Racing Fantasy. This talks more about past performance lines. I also suggest that everyone read the Horse Racing Fantasy Game Overview (found under Game and Community Info, also). And, if you're debating about becoming a VIP Member, I also suggest you read Points, Badges and Awards.

On my closing note, VIP members will build unlimited past performance lines on all horses - community and purchased horse files (again, not on prebuilt races). Non-VIP members (and this is important) can only build full past performance lines on purchased files. After a trial period, all non-VIP members will have the past performance lines on their community horses limited to two. VIP Members have no limit. This is an advantage for the VIP Member when competing in the tournaments.

Happy Racing!

Can One Back Up PPs?

Thanks for that overview, Mike. That leads me to ask this question....can one BACK UP the past performance files? I ask because I will soon be getting a new computer. I learned when I ran the program on my notebook computer that I was building up a whole new set of past performances....which is fine, I can live with that. But it does make me curious if there is any sort of export/import functionality regarding the actual past performances lines. Thanks for any insight.

good question for the horse racing game team

I would mail that question to support@horseracegame.com att Gary. He will know . I sorry, I am not sure how the back up program works (I think I know but not 100% sure) Our long term goal is to take the game to a server side application.
