Race Replay Jumpy

I have been playing for about 6 months now and in the last week I have noticed that my replay is behaving poorly. The speed of the replay seems to vary from mostly normal to fast pace for an instant every 2-3 seconds. It is a bit discopncerting to watch this way. Any suggestions?

This happens to me when I have The Mute button (Icon) pressed on the actual race page and my Windows music player off.
When I play WMP or uncheck the mute icon (Button) the choppiness goes away.
