2008 Horse files
What gives? I bought all three of the 2008 horse files - essentially a $30 purchase - yet several of the top horses are missing. There is no Recapturetheglory, Gayegos, Icabad Crane or several other horses from the Kentucky Derby or Preakness. With the other seasons, if you bought all of them (or at least all the 3 years olds) you could fill out the Triple Crown race fields. I'm disappointed.

i have to agree, missing alot of key 3 year olds. no casino drive, denis of cork, plus the ones mentioned above. past performances on those horses are easy to find, can they be added to the files??
I kind of understand your frustration...I think the horse file are over priced for what it is in them. Yes I understand, we can earn pts to discount...but most of us are not power users and will never have enough pts to make an impact. Especially if we are paying a monthly fee on top.
I mentioned this to the game creators before but think there expectations are unrealistic for what we getting.
I think the horse files should be in the range of $4.95 per file or anyone on a VIP plan should be getting 10,000/20,000/30,000 pts for there monthly membership
i dont mind paying the 30 bucks for all 3 files but those top horses mentioned above should be included
I feel you are right. We will create those extra race horses and send to everyone that bought the file as a seperate file for FREE . Please give us a few days(3-4) to get done . The best way to get files for less money is build points in the community mode and use them to either pay for the horse and race files or discount them . We are increasing the daily limit on points for VIP's to 5000 per day from 4000 starting monday .So in a VIP member can earn at least 1 free file each month plus all the other perks. We are also sending free prebuilt races to VIP members as well . Look for the details on that soon. Please understand we are new at this and we are feeling everything out and it will take time to get the program correct .
The good news is we are running a lot of races and are laying the ground work down for some good tournament action soon.
Maybe you guys should have waited another month or so for the 2008 horses? There are always a few horses that are un-heard of in the winter and spring that make a lot of noise in the summer stake races and leading up to the Breeders Cup.
Nonetheless, this is a great game.
The problem with that is we have received 50 emails looking for the 2008 files so we had to release now. But I still feel some very key horses were left out and we will send to all the people that bought or buy the file . we want everyone to get as much fun from our horse racing game as they can get .
i think the horses in those 08 files are 3yr old horses. any other horse that wins major races thru out the yr would be in the 3 and up file after the bc races are over. but still nice to have a chance to race big brown vs curlin or smartyjones in a 10 horse field vs community horses.
its good that we will get another file in a few days.

As long as we know the missing horses will be provided, then I'm fine with this. I appreciate how hard you are working to put this out. I assume the pricing will continue to be reviewed as you see what the demand is, but for now I'm more interested in making sure we get what we pay for. And the truth is, the graphics and gameplay are terrific. That's part of what is creating the tremendous demand for more horses and races.

Anyone that bought the 2008 horse file or files will by friday be updated with all the missing horses at no charge as we said. We know you will be pleased with what we added to the 2008 horse race files. This will make our horse racing game that much more fun . If you have any questions on the files and how they get added please let us know ASAP
Also all VIP members will be sent as part of their VIP program the belmont simualtion as well to be added to their pre-built race file . This should be a fun horse race to sim over and over again.
