You won't be missing tournaments for long. In fact, next week we plan on porting over all of the new tournament technology to the live servers. Though only the testers will be able to access the tournaments for real play, the rest of the community will get an idea of what the new tournament system looks like. Remember, there are two types of tournaments - house-generated and user-generated. The house-generated tournaments run much longer, will have a larger player base and will be for substantially bigger prizes. The user-generated tournaments can be created by any user through the new game interface. Players can set up literally dozens of tournaments and compete against three to whatever number of players they want for community points all day long. I would suspect that in a matter of weeks, there will be hundreds of tournaments that will be active.
i cant wait for this. I just want to know if any user can create a tournament or d o you have to be a vi member
Any user can create them . You will have to have community points to enter them . You can earn points by racing in community mode or buying points or even being a VIP. We are adding a way to get points by trying offers from our advertising partners, who give you points to visit a website ,try a free product or maybe even do a survey .
how do we get community points and how much would it cost to enter .
