New Old Player Impressions
I'm a new player of this version of the game and oh boys what a let down. Oh yeah graphics are great compared to the old versions but then that should be expected. Looks like this has just become a commercial money grabbing exercise and let me say that I don't mind forking out the cash when things are worth it but not here. The playability options of the old version of the game for a pure horserace fan like myself were just so much more advanced. You could create your own horses, tracks and races and these were the features that set the game so far apart from any other games on the market as many others already had better graphics. Although I will still play this new version of the game I think I'll spend more time with the older version. I can put up with the slightly jaded graphics for a bit more fun.

The game is in BETA . Things will take time to get to where we want them to go (THE GENERAL RESPONSE FOR OUR HORSE RACING GAME HAS BEEN VERY POSITIVE). The navigation issue is being handled as I Type. There will be no navigation issue after the 15th of next month . Many new features are on there way . (I can not disclose but they are great)
There have been a few players from the old version of horse race fantasy that are over whelmed when they first try the game . This is a new game with a new focus . The days of a simple DOS self play horse game are over for us. We are moving into a interactive community game
With that said we hope you stick around and grow with us but maybe we are not for you .

Thanks for the marketing info.
There have been a load of changes and so many of them great but my post was a plain and simple personal observation. I would have expected graphic improvements anyway as the old ones were out of touch with what could be done elsewhere. The majority of the other changes have been put through simply due to the refocus of how it is intended to approach the market and generate additional revenue. The refocus is not on the game but on how the game can be used to generate revenue and I'm speaking here as someone who's job it is to see how we can earn that extra few cent. That's a purely commercial decision and doesn't in anyway detract from the current game which is very good and which I have enjoyed playing. However a direct comparison against the original game means that 1 v 1 all the bells and whistles of the new game don't actually make it better than the previous versions.

I love this game.
Hi, I am still new (about a month old) I have one tournament under my belt however, with my first tournament I wish I knew what to do as far as tracking properly. I ran under tournament races and built ins and didn't get my racing points, I ran over 800 and recognised just a small portion of what I raced.
I need tournament instructions for kindergartners hehehehehe

I hadn't even heard of this website when the old version was around, but I know that it's NOT an ordinary game. It's..I don't know..it's FANTASTIC! I understand you may have liked the other version better..but you SHOULD give the people who made this GREAT game, a break. I'm not trying to be rude or anything like that! I just mean, there's some exciting times ahead, and I have every bit of faith that with everyone's support, this game will be better then ever (if it's not already, lol)!

I guess you never played the older horse race games from the past, where horses movements were controlled by dice. Not sure what you expect out of a great game like this? The graphics are good. Do you have a good graphics card?
They're still improving game and a new version will be released soon. I'd say, be patient and be thankful that you are able to play this game free. If you aren't satisfied with the game then you don't have to play it and could look for another horse race game. That's your choice not ours. I'm not trying to be rude either, but I have no idea where you're coming from, or what your expectations are.
If you want to explain,maybe I'll have a better understanding of your post. I love the game and have yet to see a better thoroughbred horse race game. Looking forward to the new version, coming soon.
