Hey Guys, I`m not a prude nor do I want to step on any toes but when I see a Player with the name of Bullshit, I find it offensive. And I am surprised that management would allow this to happen. I found this name in the new hot jackeys list. What do you think, Gus

There's absolutely no excuse for a name like Bull Sh-t to be allowed on a great board such as ours. I am in total agreement with, Gus. I'm certainly no prude either, but see a name such as mentioned as an insult to others.
i totally agree...there should be an automated system when you sign up if management is to busy to oversee it
I have not seen that one but I will email support and let them know
Thank You for handling this for us, I am happy to see others agree with me about the offensiveness of such a player handle, Gus
just be patient and then you will find the right horses for you.
gus, I agree, and i hope he will change it, i think it is bull s
joe
I couldn't believe that when I saw it. I went and checked my stats on the Recent hot jockeys and seen that name. I hope they make him change it.
YEA I AGREE THEY SHOULD MAKE HE/HER CHANGE IT OR CANCEL THE ACCOUNT.
I emailed support and let them know as they are the only o0nes who can change. On behalf of the HRF team, sorry for any issues this oversite may have caused.
Hi D, thanks for getting right on this for us. What will tech support be able to do about this situation and is there some safeguard that can be applied to the registration process to prevent this from happening again. To be honest wirh you I am surprised that he was allowed to use such a name, we have a very nice game and community and simply dont need anything so Lowclass. Thanks again D, Gus
Wow. You would think this person shot someone. People you need to relax just alittle. It's just a name. I would think you would have better things to complain about then someones name. Jeez people chill. This is why i hardly post anymore. It's always something petty. I think some just look for something to complain about.
We have looked into this issue and have decided not to eliminate this account. While it might be considered offensive, the player is not using the "F" word or the "C" word, which we would never allow. If someone wants to call themselves "BS", then so be it. Perhaps he is just expressing his personal opinion. We have eliminated dozens of usernames that were either porn-related or extremely offensive. We do appreciate your feedback.
Interesting and clever way of dealing with the matter.
Take care.
maybe we should all voice our personal opinion if this is what the decision is based on...just a way to sweep it under the rug...i could see it if it was an "ADULT ONLY" site but it's not...if you want this site to be as close to "real life" as possible are minors allowed to bet on this site? Just expressing my personal thoughts out loud just like the individual did when he signed up with the "offensive" name that you the management are allowing
My 8 year old grandson likes to see the games grandpa plays on his computer. He loves seeing me play this horse race game. He asks me many questions, as could be imagined and not only likes to watch the horses run around the track, but he's also interested in the point system and the leaders and what members are saying about all aspects of the game. It's kids of his age and even older who are the future of the success of games such as this one. We should be sensitive to them and all members.
I was embarassed when we went to one leader site and saw the name, Bull Sh-t as a leader. My grandson was embarrassed too.
What if all members picked a user name along the lines of, Bull sh-t? Would that be ok? I don't think so. where do we draw the line? Or, do we? This is something I feel will eventually have to be addressed. In fact, i know it will.
If I am understanding the trainer game options when it comes out, it will let us, as owners and trainers of untried horses in our stable to name them ourselves. If this is true do we want raunchy names like, Bull Sh-t??? I don't think so. Again, this msut be addressed. Where do we draw the line?
I'll preface this by saying I have 3 children. A son 7, a daughter 4, and another 1. I started going to the track when I was about my sons age. Through the years I've heard a many of undelightful things at the track, especially when folks are tearing up tickets.
Before the first race is run at the tracks here in California, the announcer gives the call to stand for the pledge of allegiance. That's right, stand for the flag and the freedoms so many have died for. Stand for the right to lose all your cash and be an incensitive idiot if someone wants. I am not a fan of censorship and I rather my children not hear, read, or be around such language. But the truth of the matter is you can't stop it. It's at the very school we send them for an education. So what shall we do then? I tell you what I do. Use it as an opportunity show them the ills of this world in hopes they want to make it a better one.
To each, his own.

May they all come home safely!!!
" Below are some simple guidelines and rules. Please follow them for the benefit of all of our members. Violators will be shut out of the community and will have their game privileges revoked."
" 1. No profanity whasoever. (Remember that our boards are open to users of various ages. We understand that at certain times, members express intense emotions. We suggest using the dictionary, not vulgarity. You'll appear smarter! "
bs should be banned thats my opinion anyway
maybe its just bull crap? or horse crap...... whatever.........
That This Doesn't Happen Anymore. My Parents Are Very Supportive Of This Site. And That's Because Everyone On Here Is EXTREMELY Nice And Supportive. But If They Start Seeing A Bunch Of Offensive Names Such As That, Maybe They'll Re-Think Their Decision. In Which Case, I'd Be Very Depressed.
Just A 13-Year-Old's View On The Matter,
Kayla
We have thrown out 14 people who were using offensive, racial or sexually explicit language . If you notice anything please let support@horseracegame.com immediately . We need the community's help protecting against such volgarity's
Kayla,
I agree, there are so many interesting, friendly and supporting people on this forum. I consider myself one of them ( patting myself on the back ) and want your parents to know that us older members are not only here to have fun and enjoy a great game, but it is also up to us to protect younger members from vulgarity. I know I can't speak for all, but I'm quite sure others feel the same way. I know management does.
I'm so happy that you love horse racing and that you intend on going to Jockey School. I'm the one, as I'm sure you recall, that told you the story about a friend of mine named Teresa English who became a jockey ( actually, very successful in California ) until a serious ( a freak accident in the paddock ) injury ended her career. This was in the seventies.
Hi Kayla, I started ths subject and would and will do it again. We, our industry is in need of young horse lovers who represent our future, and simply do not need to be exposed to certain language or any offensive material. I agree with Sound that there are more players with our way of thinking and your parents can rest assured that this is a quality site dedicated to educating and having fun with horse racing. No vulgarities, a big thank you to Management for making the right decision. Gus
I want to thank you guys for your replies back to me. I'm sure now that if my parents ever had re-considered their decision about this game (and I can't really see them doing so for such a minor offense), they've been totally reassured. My experiences on here, so far, have been good ones.
I really do appreciate it,
Kayla
someone keyed my car up proper, now thats offensive! but agreed bullhang wud be good and quite funny too
