I just wanted to thank you for this upcoming race...i rode Stud Muffin to a 4 1/2 length victory, wonderful horse and race...Thank you again for this opportunity, one of the advantages of being a V.I.P. member @ the best racing simulation ever.
Brilliant Son took the lead with Ravel and Helsinki finished a strong second with a late charge...i just recieved the race early this morning so check it out
helinski won my sim edging out solar flare too bad he scr would have been a nice price to play but the time was way off 1:52.2 71 sr. seems like the game is way off when running on a off track hopefully it will be corrected in the new version. curlin ran a 64 winning by 6L. on a sloppy surface the other day
I opted to ride Stud Muffin but lost all chances on him as the field broke from gate. Because of the camera angle I was using, I started hitting the wrong arrow keys by mistake. This cost him any chance of doing good. He trailed throughout, just in front of the eventual winner, who also lacked early speed.
Anyway, Helinski came from 15 lengths back, in last place and found an opening along the rail final 2 furlongs and passed everybody to win going away, by three lengths. Very impressive victory. I'm gonna be watching this guy.
Sorry, Stud Muffin. It wasn't your fault. I gave you a poor ride. I have to be more alert. We'll do much better next time out.
Not sure what folks are saying about the final time. Mine was 1:52 and change. About par, I'd say for a slow track. In my opinion, this is close to being accurate for the going. The mile fraction was 1:38 and change.

In a previous post, I spelled Helsinky, Helinsky in error. It should read, Helsinky. Anyway, he's ( Helsinky ) tough from well off the pace.
I've watched him win a few races already in this same come from behind manner. If the rails open, he'll mow them down on the inside. If it's blocked up, he'll swing to the outside and pick them up one by one. Always a threat. Likes to lag 15 lengths behind the entire field whole trip. The distance and track condition seemed to suit him. The racetrack and surface too.
Dry Martini has come from off the pace in my game to win twice already. He's usually at 7 to 1 odds. After trailing, he makes a big move at the half mile pole to pass them all, gaining the lead, to win quite handly.
I just noticed on the Internet that Dry Martini actually was the real winner of the 2008 Grade 3 Stuyvesant Handicap. Another good one to follow.

I was very disappointed in Solar Flare's pathetic performance yesterday. He probably just doesnt like the mud.
