I think the tourney prize pool is based on # of entrants. So if only 1 person enteres that is the pool. If 40 enter then the total would be 40x that.

Hi, Guys -
The tournaments that you saw listed were actually tester tournaments being set up through the new tournament platform. They were not for entry and anyone who did enter them have been removed from the tournaments and the points have been refunded. Sorry for the confusion and inconvenience. We are testing the new build and for some reason, they posted in the actual game community and not on the test site.
Modgraphix is correct, it would be ridiculous to enter a tournament for 1,000 points to win 400. Puddles and Derbygirl have posted quite a bit in the community about the new tournament platform and programs and how they work, so there's no reason for me to reiterate that info. Besides, when the new version comes out before the end of the month, there will be quite a bit of additional information published. All I can tell you now is that our tournaments will be exciting and will take this game and community to a whole new level.
Sorry for any inconvenience and confusion today. The only tournaments that are available right now are those for new members who have run less than 250 races. These are jockey tournaments only and there are a couple of new ones you can enter now. The good part is, they are free to enter yet you can win community points.
