That would be a neat addition the the trainer game - especially if it changes the horse's performance(in the case of a shadow roll, blinkers, etc.).
Also, having a sort of "silks closet" where you can design silks for various purposes and assign them to owners. Also, being able to assign community horses to imaginary owners and stuff would be neat as well, along the same sort of lines.
All your feedback is rock-solid. Your ideas have merit. I've had several people email or private message me about adding new features, specifically equipment, to our virtual racing game. Please check our home page under my name, Puddles, for a detailed analysis of where we are and what we're going to be trying in the training game - or click here for that story. The more comments the better, we appreciate them. Again, thanks a lot and hopefully the story makes sense.
Most online games that I play, wheather it be a first person shooter game, a race car game, a football game...most gamers would agree, the more cool things added to a game and features, the more hours people are going to be spending playing the game, as there is more to do than just play the game...some gamers love figiting with settings, looks of the character, adding things to thier character to gain any advantage...gamers love a challenge puddles....Im not sure if you are a big gamer like I am as far as all the type games that I play, I play counter strike, madden, nascar 09, tiger woods 09, and I spend hours like all my gaming buds online , figiting with the charactoristics of your player/car/soldier....I really think the more added to this game will only attract more gamers that are not necceserily horse racing fans...I dont really watch nascar every week but its neat to teak your car in the game, its fun, Im not really a big huge football fan. but its neat to be able to train your player or add things that will make him have a lil more edge in the game, I do not golf , but I love teaking the golfer in tiger woods, adding items, clothing or things that will maybe increase his skills...thats what makes gamers keep coming back...more things to do or add on, the better....I know u said that ur limited in ur programers, and I understand how hard it would be with limited staff...but maybe in the future after the training game is out, u can maybe look into adding those items to the game, I think people would enjoy it in the long run....thank you puddles...ruffiano
Also as a gamer, I agree with ruffiano. The more stuff you put into the game the better the game will be and the more people will play it. So, don't rush the game out their, take your time and put great detail into. Because i have played games were they just rushed the product out there for the demand of it, and the game sucked. Take yor time,
