I have sent 2 emails to the help desk here with the same question
and have not received a reply back.
The old version of the game is off the market for several reasons .
1) It does not support the new operating systems like vista and even certain xp machines 2) It does not tie into our community. We are building this great user driven community for our players with tons of cool and unique content that can be found only here on our horse racing site 3) Your new horse files will not function and vice-versa in the other older versions of the game . We can not support 5-10 year old game platforms anymore.
The structure of the company and the format of the game has changed and will continue to change (for the better). We are moving into a full interactive game platform . Yes ,you can still play on your own but we are building a entire program around player interaction (tournaments and events) We want our site to be more like a life -style then a simple racing game . Lot's of new features coming including training horses and training tournaments . We are also adding user shared races and user generated jockey and betting tournaments . We are also adding over 1000 more real horses for sale and 30-40 community horses per month for our members. We have a complete point system for earning great prizes (the new point system will be out very very very soon) . We are working on several large deals we can not yet talk about that will change the landscape and set new standerds for racing community's and games.
I want to also thank you for being a great customer of both the old and new game . I will look to see why customer service has not responded to you and make sure they do ASAP. Once again thank You and I know over time (short period) you will like what you see very much .....

when will we be able to create or own horse like the old version and print result charts??
You can not create your own horses but you soon be able to breed horses with community points or cash for training in the training game and then race against others for prizes and braging rights. This is under way and should have more info by end of the month .The company makes it's money selling horses (if we ever make money) and VIP programs . Everything else is FREE including the 15,000 a month we spend on creating unique content for the community .The old game had a way different bussiness model and no where near the features and perks that we have and are adding all the time . We are building a community game and a social networking platform for all levels of racing fans
