Yes unfortunately there was a problem with some player or players manipulating the game. I for one would get no satisfaction by winning through unscrupoulas gaming. I want to win or lose fair and square. I am sure that they have worked the new format so it cant be manipulated and we will all have a chance at competing on an even playing field. Cant wait Gus

Tournaments will resume again once we get the new version distributed. We are very close. Testing is continuing. Not only will you have the normal tournaments that the house sets up, but there will be user tournaments that the players will set up. The amount of action a player can have on a daily basis with this new process is unlimited. Hope you have a lot of points saved up. It's going to be fun.

i agree with all of you those cheaters should be eliminated in our community... its sad to know that we lose in a tournament that we join and its much more when the winner cheats!!!!!
yes cheaters should be....but let me be very clear. They did not CHEAT, they found an exploit and used that. There is a major difference.
I can only assume I am the reason for the tournaments being postponed. I don't know for sure. I won a PPS tournament, got paid for it, then the next day my money was gone and 'glitches' were being discussed. I ride a lot of 99-1 shots and know how to get points out of them. The goal for a PPS tournament is to get a high PPS. That's what I did. I won't be able to win too many tournaments for Wins, I can't run enough races to compete there.
Anybody can put up the numbers I do if you choose your horse and race wisely. Check out my stats under search by race horse. I've only ridden Daisy Cutter 5 times. A lot of the 'Super Horses' in the game I rarely ride. I like riding the longshots. As far as I can tell it is within the rules. That's my side of the story.
I think I said this before but I have no idea who found the exploits, I was never informed, nor do I really care.
I dont have a very good points per start but a good win % because I dont take long shots very often I just dont have the courage. When I do try and take a long short I usually come in last :)
Dede you are right, cheating was never the issue. It was a matter of some players manipulating the tournaments point system. No one was ever accused of cheating, having said that though I still feel it was not the right way to winn Gus
if a player finds something in the game that he knows works but isnt right to do, its cheating....cheating means finding a way to win at something witout playing like ur supposed to...everyone knows right from wrong i would hope? so if he or she is doing sumthing wrong, but it hasnt been labeled cheating yet, its still cheating...after the new version comes out and numbers drop, u know thats what is was...ruffiano
I would rather race clean and win, place, show, or come in fourth place fair and square. When I play, I have those nights where I can play good and place in races and then I have those nights that I play bad. Cheating is wrong and those that are manipulating the game know it.
to gain an unfair advantage while knowing is cheating,and is an insult to every one of us that plays fair!
