Dede, I know that the game, up till now doesn't recognize dead heats. In time, hopefully it will. Anyway a few weeks ago, I saved one of my races that was a real dead heat. I hope to share this race some day.
Then, yesterday, I had another dead heat. I used a magnifying glass and straight edge and couldn't separate the two horses. I didn't save this race.
All kidding aside, with over 200,000 lines of code, things are just going to happen. Sometimes the little quirks piss me off, sometimes I have to smile and laugh. I know the smiling and laughing choice is probably better for my health. But, what I do appreciate is that we have such a dedicated fan base that continues to discover things we've never seen. That's great and we love it. The good, the bad, the ugly - we want to know it all!
I've said it a hundred times and I'll say it again - the growth of this company and the success of this game is going to happen because of the loyal players. Think of it as your baby. Every once in a while, the baby does something a little unusual. Smile, take it in stride and know that one day your little baby is going to make you proud - and will probably want to borrow the car, as well!
Keep us informed and look for the new version soon. I'm sure there will be plenty of quirks in that one, too. If you think there are quirks in the game, you should come hang out in the office a few days. Everyone here is a quirk so everything fits perfectly. Our users might be the only sane people we know!
