I am pretty sure its because puddles and others are busy working on the trainer game and other stuff. and quite frankly i would rather them working on the trainer game (which is going to be awesome) than worrying about putting in tournaments for other players.
ok now i understand why there's no tournament for the old members.... i hope the trainers game could be release sooner than we expect it..... thanks bro!!! peace!!!!
also had to do with the the tournament structure is being overhauled. A while back some members found exploits in which to pad their numbers. The team wants to make sure everything is fair before resuming.
exploits.......and cheaters, we dont need that stuff on this game.....and I agree with what has been done with the tournaments...its a shame people cannot play a game without finding a way to cheat to make thierselves look good...I came here after playing other online games with cheats, and hated it...atleast the top dogs here are finding ways to stop this crap fom happening.....ruffiano
nep, I dont really follow the tourney's and who played in them and who won beyond what I see in the banners., so I can only tell you what I was told, that they were looking to redo the tourney's to get rid of an exploit that was out there. No names were mentioned....so I am not going to assume it was anyone so I would not assume it was you or anyone else. Hope that helps. Congrats on the tourney wins and maybe you can loan me some points :)...because I will need them once user created tourneys get started
Today was a big day. We began running tests on user-generated tournaments. It was actually quite fun! With the new version of the game, you'll be able to choose the start date going out as far as 10 days or starting as early as the next day. The start time for the tournament, the tournament type (whether it's a jockey or bettor tournament). You will be able to select the winning conditions for the event. For jockey tournaments there will be two winning conditions: most wins or highest average points per start. For betting tournaments, there is only one winning condition and that is the highest ROI (return on investment or return on bets) made during tournament play. You'll also be able to set the tournament entry fee with as little as 1,000 community points up to 25,000 community points (where we now have it capped). Again, this is determined by the person who sets up the tournament. Once your tournament is set up, it will automatically post in the calendar so all members can see it. The key here is to get other players to join your event. The minimum number of players per tournament is 3 (for user-generated tournaments) and there is no maximum number of entries. The winning prizes are paid out from the entry fees we collect based on the number of entries and the community point requirement to enter (which is set by the user who generated the tournament). But, here's the kicker - all user-generated tournaments automatically enter the member who set up the tournament and evaluate that member's scores from his community mode play and only allow users with similar game stats to enter the tournament. So, if I'm a jockey who has averaged 200 points per start (these are game stats, now), then members with similar scores or a similar point per start average calculated from their entire game play history while in community mode will be eligible to enter. The entire system is automated and you will know instantly if you are eligible or not when scrolling through the tournament calendar in the community. So, you won't have to figure out if you meet the qualifications. The color-coded system instantly tells you. If you're eligible, the Enter Tournament button will be present. If not, you will have to continue scrolling down the tournament list.
What I'm expecting is that our active members will lead the way by initially creating user-generated tournaments. We suggest promoting your tournaments in the forums, message boards, everywhere - through your friends list, etc. - to bring in as many entries as possible. The new tournament system is very slick, very fair and a big step forward for all of us. We're hoping for one more week of tests (two at the most). One last point - there will still be plenty of house tournaments, which can be small or massive in size with huge point payouts.
thanks that is great info, looking forward to it...I hope at some point we can create private tournaments where only people who get invited by the person who set up the tourney, gets implemented....I think that would be great

So people on here should quit talking while they are ahead and should consider themselves lucky more tournaments were not rescinded.
