2 fer 2! I had the bad luck of placing one of my best against that beast! Did everything I could but PDB just cruised on by to victory. No kinks in the armor on that one. I just hope I can manage a decent showing in the final. I say Pinks Bay Dawn to the breeder's shed ASAP! I guess archon can go ahead and dominate everyone for a few horse years. Next time, just let me know where NOT TO ENTER! Great horse Archon!

G3 ??????

Im sure the horse is good with a 152bsr.But entering it into Low level general and G3 races i cant understand. No great achievment if it wins the tournament in my opinion and not running great sr for its ability either. Will be funny if it gets beat.

nothing wrong there

the sr readings you are seeing in this tournie means nothing.... The horse will run with the pack ,, if the packs not to flashy then you wont see flashy sr scores.... Lets say he was in a tournie filled with high 130sr horses or 140s then you would expect to see inflated sr readings,.... i thinks thats how it goes!!!,,i remember ronny boy telling me this ages ago.....also puddles mentioned this ages ago also....maybe i heard wrong,,, put it down to this,,,its based on the quality of the tournament runners

Also Lord Outstanding didnt start in a tournie that much bigger , either did Kontroll Freak or Wells Fargo.... First tournie i think its ok to place where he placed it,,,but step it next tournie for sure,,,,, this horse has shown its ability....

I was wondering why it

I was wondering why it was'nt entered into a G1 tourney too until a little birdy told me that the trainer had one of those bogus PR's where it could'nt assess a work-out! So lets give the guy a chance to work the horse out before we jump the gun! JMHO!

Still Disagree.

The last few months on the forums almost everyone has been complaining about 135+ bsr horses being entered into low grade tournaments and that is why alot say the blue restricted tournaments are so popular.Entering a 152 bsr horse into a low grade G3 tournament is silly and i cannot see the benefit of that.Give him a chance you guys say, come on its a 152 bsr horse should be in G1 races full stop.

Probably true

The speed fig is so low because my horse was the only other horse in the race as far as I see it. My horse is above 130 and is legit. If he were not up against a freak he would be the favorite to win this. That is mainly why I entered him in a lower level this time. As luck would have it, I end up against a 152, LOL. I knew PBD was a beast so I tried to steal this one on the front end. I had it clear but he just coasted by like I was standing still. My horse can and has run 120+ and never below 110 in his practices over every surface. I agree that the speed figs for this race are a bit sketchy because of how easy PBD won it and the fact that no other horse in the race did anything to be competitive. Can PBD be beat, I think that depends on the distance and competition. I did see the slow down whip come out on him near the end of the race and only have seen that when a horse is somewhat tired and conserving energy. So he beat me by 3, I beat the rest of the field by 4. Short field, will be interesting to see how the bigger fields work out. He is 3 fer 3 and won all by at least 2 so that 8 furlong race looks to be his toughest yet. So how much would you pay for PBD right now?

By entering the low end

By entering the low end general tournament, how will the trainer know how good the horse is by running against that kind of competition. The sr run so far have not been anything special at all and up against a 138 or 140+ horse it wont be as easy.I just feel for a horse with that kind of bsr you would want to get an good idea of how the horse runs in a trainer tournament against decent horses, running in G3 races certainly will not tell you that.Just my opinion though.
