I just noticed Doc Beauty is now eligible for the breeding shed.
Big Congrats to Ronwar! Job well done! It's not an easy task to make it.
Congratulations also to Brianshaw, xray, and Shelbyjoe !
The question remains, however, now that the program is open to put your horses in the shed, when are you guys going to do it? Some of us like to breed a lot, you know.
Lord Outstanding still has a few years left, but Wells Fargo and Misty Images are getting up there, Doc Beauty is not far behind in age.
Come on guys, give us a chance to make some babies!
LOL!

Ronwar did a fine job getting this horse the shed. The horse is a decent horse, but not a great one. Tip your hat to Ronwar, he got the horse to the shed, unlike the others, who had the horse get them to the shed.
As far as the shed, what does it all mean ?? It seems to be everyone's goal. But with all the new great horses out there, won't there be 50 horses in the shed by years end ??? Atleast 25. No doubt about that. Won't that belittle the accomplishments of shed horses ?? Won't that make whatever returns they get from the shed diluted ?? Shed horses, like the "millionaire horse" could soon become common in the game.
Flyingdaaka is probably one of the only players in the game who doesn't even have the shed on his radar screen. Is everyone really excited about the shed ???? Flyingdaaka guesses the biggest benefit will become having your horse become a legend forever in the game. That is cool, no doubt.

I didn't think I would be so pleased getting a horse to the shed, but it really is an awesome feeling. I feel like I really owned and raced a horse through a career, and soon there will be little Doc Beautys running around. It really is a credit to HRF, that they can deliver a product that takes you through the real ups and downs of horse racing and in the end you feel attached to virtual bytes running across your computer screen. Doc is by no means a super classic horse, its a little hard knocking 121.3 SR horse that loved sloppy sprints and you needed your A game to pass her in the stretch. In the end, this is what we pay for. Some of the best entertainment to be had, short of racing real horses and this nice place in Vegas that I can't talk about.
Thanks again for the well wishes

I agree with you Ron!
Again BIG Congrats!
I just read through this entire thread, I'm a sucker for the love! "Bleeding heart Lib!"
I like when players congratulate each other.
In response to Daaka,
Making it to the shed is the ultimate goal of our horses' career. Like you said, the horse is forever immortalized in the game.
The ultimate "Hall of Fame", sitting alongside Secretariat, Seattle Slew and all of the greats!
Not to mention, the trainer/owner receiving override points for as long as they play!
JB and I were discussing this the other day, about how many horses should be in the shed. I now agree with JB, the more that make it, the merrier.
With hundreds of pairs to choose from, I think it will make the game even more exciting and challenging.

BTW Ron, shame on you for going to those places in Vegas! Heathen!

Congrats my friend...job well done. Very gratifying accomplishment. We have came a long ways from the beginning and now all your hard work and frustrations have paid off by ending up in the shed with a very deserving horse. A place we all want to end up one day!!

Congratulations, Ron. Was only a matter of time. Horse and trainer deserves our admiration. To think that you took this horse all the way to the shed with a 121 birth rating, Gives hope for others.
Vasdef, I just taked to, Tiger and he asked me who the hell is, Vasdef?? ( What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas ) He disagrees.LOL
1 hour 55 min
Well she has been submitted to the shed, which is a very cool process. It will take 10-14 days to make her available. They want her to get a little breather, get her strength back before she's off to breeding duty.

May they all come home safely!!!

get her slowed down enough them 5-legged hosses can catch her. lol

Thanks for the info, Ron. (10-14 days).
I've been in the shed all morning looking for her, I had Affirmed and Native dancer with me!
They were bragging about knocking hooves, I didn't get it!
Rum, Tiger had too many running around loose!
We all know that loose lips, sink ships

my first time I heard a track announcer mention a free-legged pacer. I thought he said 3-legged.

O geez... Ron did they say 10-14 days, or was it 10-14 hrf days?
1 hour 55 min
LOL...hopefully 10-14 regular days. My guess is they got this tested out okay. It should just be a matter of fitting it in with everything else the programmers got to do...it could be sooner - wishful thinking :)

Keep on trashing HRF, LOL!
Short Bus Rider can kiss the Q bonus goodbye.

Yankee is getting a raw deal with the Post, but I always get the outside post in sprints. No Big Deal.
Fighting it out for the Q bonus in the same tourney!
Awesome!

Well done Ron,great job from a great trainer! Can't wait to breed a few from the doc! ;)

Ah come on that's not trashing hrf...or is it? lol But for real i do love the hrf team if not for them i would probably have a sun tan and a credit card balance over $2.50 :P Cant wait to see if my short bus rider can bring home some serious pts and beat on that damn Ny Yankee horse... Hopefully you shot him up with A Roids special sauce :)

What's the difference between a decent horse and a great horse? Seems like you don't put much weight on a trainers ability if their horse makes it to the shed, simply because he/she has a great/super horse. I applaude all of these horses and their trainers.
This is no easy task.
15 hours 34 min
right...It takes good planning and good training to acumulate $6m. Time here to give accolades to those who created and manage a game platform that enables and replicates the ups and downs, system frustrations, good luck and bad, the extreme passions and also demands the skill required of a trainer in the real world to succeed. Makes this game outstanding. Getting a 121sr to the 6m mark is an outstanding achievement in this game and Ronwar has set a very high standard. This in no way lessons the achievement of those others who still had to figure out and then optimise the particular talents of their horse to achieve their success..The road to the barn is littered with the remnants of high sr horses whose trainers were unable or not patient enough to fathom their horses strengths and weaknesses.

Voodoo Fever has dominated his tournament and will be in the Final on Wednesday night, 22 Sept. 2010. He only needs $50,000 more to be elegable for the breeding shed. This should be no problem in the Final. Five year old, Voodoo Fever, from, Dustyla2 barn already has the 4 tournament win requirement. Soooo, what I'm saying everybody.let's get in those votes. I voted for him twice today, giving him 137 of the 150 needed.Again, this won't be a problem for him. Good luck in the final. My money's riding on you.

Many thanks for your votes, Sound!

Mdm Mister Pink from, Danielcakes stable. He's only $340,000 away from $6,000,000 requirement and has met his 4 tournament win requirement. He needs your votes too. Of all the requirements, votes are the least hardest to get. In fact, I doubt if any member would sit idle if that's all a horse needed to make it to the breeding sheds. But, it's nice to see the votes pouring in.
1 year 15 weeks
Yes, we all need to concentrate on casting our two votes per week for the ones that are on the top of the standings. I don't want to see any horse meet the shed requirements and not have the neccessary votes. They should all have the required 150 votes by the time they reach $6 million in earnings.
