Race tracks

This year I've really gotten into horse racing. I went to the aquaduct(wood memorial), Monmouth Park(The Haskell Invitational), Saratoga(The Travers Stakes) and Belmont park(The jockey Gold Cup). I'm thinking of going to the Preakness and the Belmont next year. Does it cost anymore to get in and is it super packed? Do I need to get tickets in advance? None of the races I went to were over-crowded(the travers a little) and I was just wondering if I can have a good time there or if it's going to be hectic.

great list. My experience

great list. My experience with Belmont day...is that the place is sooooo big you can get in, no problem but sometimes seeing the race close up is another story. If you really want to get good views maybe buying grandstand tickets ahead of time is the way to go, otherwise I dont really think there is huge cause to buy ahead
