Has anyone else run a 1 1/16 mile turf race at Lone Star Park? I ran two races there at that distance, and the configuration of the route is something to behold! It seems like a thoroughbred version of a demolition derby at some places. If someone else has had the same experience, please let me know, or perhaps it's some sort of glitch in my program or computer. Thanks.

There are a few tracks in the game where that occurs. It's a glitch in the game that everyone has
This had come up in discussion more than once. The developers are aware of the problem. This happens at several tracks. I first noticed it at a New Zealand track, but have seen it elseware too.
There are some other glitches too. I saw one of my selections lead by a wide margin most of trip only to be narrowly beaten at the wire. When viewing the rerun, it was my selection that won and by about 2 lengths. The other horse ran second. Figure. This has to be so rare that I'm almost certain that I saved it to show developers, if requested. I've never seen this happen before.
Now sure of the track. think it was Golden gate fields, but my horses were running through fences.....

I just tried it :) Fun!
I need it to be noted that I was the man who first brought up the Lone Star glitch on this blog. I was ignored, and oh look...Someone else is trying to take credit for my discovery...
It's possible that some posts aren't read by everybody.
My friend and I discovered the glitches on the track in New Zealand. The horses ran through at least two fences before abruptly changing direction and running through the flowerbeds. We laughed so hard (her comment was: "what is this madness?"). It was the most fun I'd had in a long time. Other than that, most of the tracks are okay; occasionally one will come up that has a rail crossing the wire.
yes there are some oddities down in the Aussie and NZ tracks....but I enjoy them and finding them is that much more fun!!!
You'll find some of these oddities on American tracks too.
