Keeneland Trip

Oct.16 & 17 My wife and I are going to Keeneland,My son (Whaley13) is bringing his wife and daughter driving down from Ohio to join us.We would like to know if any HRF members that live close will be attending would be nice to meet up at the track.First one's on me !! Let us know it would just add to the trip....Stan

I love that place ! ... I got to go a long time ago, and that day they had , Lure , Ten Keys, Paradise Creek , Summer Squall, Unbridled there that day, it was cold but a blast....at that time they didnt have a race caller, is it still like that now?

Ruff, i remember those days of no track announcer at Keeneland. They have one now. Whaley, it's possible that my wife and I may make the trip. We try to make one of the two meets every two years, and were due. lol .

i went last year and saw the horses being worked! It was cool!! Have breakfast at the "Trackside Cafe" it is a great dive!! All the Jockeys eat there! Get a couple autographs!! Also, you should head to Churchill Downs!! I was there!! Take the tour of the place! I learned alot about the joint! Have Fun!!
