according to puddles---- You cannot increase or decrease your sr. by more then 2% by your choice of training instructions or jockey instructions. yet an example of a pr. report says------ Jockey Instructions : Don`t expect this horse to follow jockey instructions. This horse is very independent and will race in accordance to his own running style. Trying to take this horse out of his natural running style can have a dramatic impact on his performance. can anyone explain this???

The 2% applies to your training. Jockey Instructions are a different animal. If your doesn't like going to the front and you say use more energy early, then you've hampered your horses chances of winning greatly.

No I cant explain it. But will tell you some horses if you pull them away from there natural racing style, thats the ones that dont follow instructions you can drop there SR number 20 points or more.
The horses that follow instructions, its hard to mess them up. Unless in a distance race you give command avoid traffic at all cost and get horse out faster, that may cause your horse to die on the track, LOL.
Theres a way around everything, choosing tracks your horse dont like and choosing instructions that are not to your horses liking.
Saying all that you must know your horse. It takes me several tourneys to figure out which instructions get the best result.

NOOOOOOOOO !!!!!! FOR THE LAST TIME !!!!!! NOOOOOOOOO !!!!!
Any trainer that tells you they are capable of this is a liar and a provider of misinformation.

Well we will find out in a couple of hours to this answer. LOL
Hey I used save ground with 1 of my horses and it ran a sr105 the next 3 races I used avoid traffic and it ran 10-15pts better for all 3 races.
Save ground forces your horse to keep up with the pace and tends to keep your horse closer to the rail.
Avoid traffic doesn't force your horse to keep up with the pace and it moves your horse outside.
But some horses need avoid traffic because save ground will wear them down to fast.
So since the jockeys are stupid. I am forced to use avoid traffic so they dont wear my horse out and have to deal with going wide for the entire trip.
Wheres the command stay on the rail the whole race and only go wide to pass down the stretch?

daaka-- just read the contents of my post, and kindly explain to me what that means. i asked puddles again --and he confirmed that training and driving instructions in tournament can affect a horses performance approx. 2%. but the pr. report says different.

figure out how to win and try your best at it . in my opinion it is possible to manipulate your horses result a bit but it varies from horse to horse what u may need to do . subtleties surrounding the slight difference in race distances within a tournament may work like if ur horse cant quite stay 6f but is a crack shot at 5.5 so he may place instead of winning, the problem with this kind of thing is that u may fix yourself straight out of making the finals, and u still may not fool a good handicapper.

Give all of horses these instructions:
Training: 8f handily
make my horse go a little faster (routes)
make my horse go a little slower(sprints)
Avoid traffic at all cost.
Try this and let us know, not you Johnny, but Daaka!

depends on the horse - and what he/she likes , some dont follow institutions what so ever and find themselves blocked ever race even if there is a clear run to the line and the only horse in the race ?????
I use avoid traffic when ever possible for everything what is not a front runner , I like for my horses to have options to go to the rails or to go out wide when a run opens.

These instructions can affect your horse’s speed or stamina the 2% (up or down so the range is within a 4% spread from where you are what you actually accomplish) based upon how you use them. The wrong instructions can also cause your horse to go 2% lower rather than higher as to speed and distance (Stamina). For example if your horse is fragile and you use “Handily” as an instruction you can actually hurt your horse and lose 2% where if your instructions was Gallop or Breeze where you might have gained that 2% increase. This (2%) principle also should apply to the jockey instructions based upon the trainer’s knowledge of their horses known running style, likes and dislikes from having run it in Advance Mode and in tournament races.

Here is my attempt to provide you with some information based on my observation and batabase experience. Your horse is built with these attributes http://www.horseracegame.com/community/content/99369/training-game-train... . Each of them having a numerical value that the database can recognize. When you pull a PR report it will look at all of these values and return a pre-written statment for each attribute and put it together in the format you see as a PR report. Now not sure if the database has some of these numbers unlocked.. meaning they can be influenced (will change) after every race then yes your SR will change since these numerical values will go up or down.
Now if my opinion or statement above is true and some numbers are unlocked then i do recall a recent thread about a PR statements changing after a few races. I can definetly see this happening if that horses numerical values change so much that they pass the threshold therefore demand the database attach a different statment in the new PR report.
Depending on this companies change management protocol with their systems. I personally can attest to issues (in our company) with database settings being changed and affecting customers accounts with wierd anomilies because of staff not following a solid change management policy and accidently turning something on or off.
