My horse has BSR of 102.5
Looks like an even tournament to me on the sr above.
Should be good close racing :o)

Under the class system I have 3 places to run this horse.
Under 117 blue tournament this horse will get smashed?
Gen tournament 7,500 points this horse will get smashed?
Red tournament , not interested in racing in them?

You can call me out for entering a 102 birth sr horse in 1500 point tournament do you expect me to enter this donkey in to a 150,000 point tournament....

I`m happy for you to post all the results form this tournament , I look forward to it maybe this donkey of mine can show up some of the faster and higher sr horses in the race....

Once again, the same people are intentionally obtuse. No one gives a rat's ass what the 'BIRTH' SR is. 'Entering Low' is about how the horse has performed previously.

BTW there's 14 other horse in here, besides the ones I mentioned. Maybe one among them has a chance?!?! We will see.

All I can say about this tourney is they almost spend the whole tourney points in the cost of lasix. Maybe Hrf should add lasix purchase to the prize pool. That would add 16,000pts to the total purse.

On second look at the sr horse above , will be very close racing and i`m sure if you look at most the other horses in the race they will be close to what you have posted.... The only difference here is that you happen to see a few larger trainers around and you thought you would get your 2 cents in and try and tell other people how to race and where to enter there horses , when in fact you should worrie about your stable..

I am in a tournament now in which (barbados best) is running in , the tournament has a 1k buy in (NO RACE FEE) and total points is 12.5k 1st place be about 6k points.

Then there is this gem, ten hours later:
People are knowen as different things on the game post 72# Newbies , Lowballers , Small stables , Sandbaggers , (I will all so add to that good trainers , top trainers , poor trainers etc etc)

Also we have this, on 6/16 at 7:10pm:
I had one of pet 2yo horses run today. It has the lowest sr in my stable 114.6 and I entered into a low tournament to have fun with for 40k points. There is no rule in which you haft to race all the time in large tournaments.

But if the lowest SR in his stable on 6/16 was 114.6, how can this horse 'Stronger Then Life', that was bred on 2/24, be a 102.5, as he stated above?

Maybe it can best be summed up this way, in suncity's own words:

The point to your argument is the most wins in low tourneys. You still have more low balls wins. I dont care if you win with sr90 or higher. I dont see your point attacking people for enter low who dont win these tourneys time after time.

I think your argument should be is why are these people spending nothing to make nothing if they win and pay stables fees to keep horses that can only win in low tourneys. That tourney has 19 horses in it. Only one horse is guaranteed a profit. Those are some crappy odds to make a profit on a crappy horse. This tourney should be called "Wasting time and winning nothing".

I'm saying on top of the fact that not only are those not sandbag wins, most of them predate the sandbagging epidemic that we have seen recently. I don't know if suncity is a perpetual sandbagger, I only know he did do it in this one. On and off for as long as this trainer game has been around, I have occiasionally checked the avg wins times for tournaments and with exception of certian tracks and other conditions that of course run faster. An average lowend 3 yr old race which this is has always averaged a winning speed rating of 110 to 112... the horses mentioned above that started this thread if you throw out obvious clunkers and the 120 freak race the one horse has all average 110-111. Exactly what they should be in this tournament... I am one of the first to dislike horses way below where they belong.. but none of these are at all, they are all exactly where the belong and where I would put my horse that does the same thing. Entering low in a 3yr old race is to enter here with a horse averaging 115 or better or 120+. 3 yr olds run faster and the same twos that ran 100 in a low end 2 yr old trny run 110 at three and any less than 100 at 2 or 110 at 3 should be in a restricted or claimer thats what those class's are for.

Damn it, Flyingdaaka missed this one !!! Flyingdaaka was searching for a specifically low race to enter on synthetic and missed it. Flyingdaaka wanted to enter a solid horse to crush the field. Get em next time.
Flyingdaaka will excuse these people however, it isn't as bad as seen in the past.
NYRacinggirl - long time player, desperate to finally get the 5 win badge, give her a pass on this one.
Dragonfeather - just getting back into racing. Not blistering SR's in previous run, give her also a pass.
Dan Lewis - not a big player in the game, only 3 horses. Give him a break.
Suncity - A usual suspect in low-balling. Its a disgrace that he has bred as massively as he has, to be reduced to entering his horses in such tournaments. Utterly disgraceful. Get the piano out for this one.

I put three in here due to the low entry fee ... one of them was Samiam Gone By ... he has a bsr of over 120 :/

If he wins this thing or not he is stepping up in his next tourney. Yes I knew he had talent and yes I knew he had a shot

What was the point of the new class system if everyone is going to keep complaining about people entering low. At this point I don't see how it matters because there are places for almost every horse now. I'm just tired of the forum being plagued with threads about this issue and some players calling each other out. I just think it's pointless. Who cares how others spend their money?! All this negativity is giving me a headache.

If people want to race with a limited variety of horsies, then why not enter a restricted tournament? We've got a wide variety of types now, all different flavors (restricted by past performance, restricted by Birth Sr, ect.) These people who enter better horses in lower class tournaments have done nothing wrong really except to break a common law rule imposed by a few complainers on this forum. Personally, if I had a decent horse I would go for the larger purses... but that's how I play the game. If others choose to play differently, and don't cheat, then I don't have a problem with it...

Sun City's horse, according to the information posted:

To me, this indicates that the horse was regressing not getting better and the final 103 SR was the lowest of all the others mentioned yet he did not get a pass from dakka. There is more to a horses performance than SR's. There is consistency, clunkers, unfavorable tracks and questionable courage. I agree with dakka giving the others a pass, but in light of this fact I believe Sun City should also have been given one. Of the horses mentioned they appear to make a good field where either has as equal a chance of winning. As to the other entrants there is no information available to evaluate.

For New Trainers: Due to the fact that HRF does not name the horses prior to the beginning of General tournaments is what makes stable snooping an important strategy for those entering tournaments, then you can see who entered which horse in a particular tournament. By doing this you can then review the entered horses past performance history. Yes, it's a lot of work but very benifical when you find the answers which can be used in placing your horse(s) in tournaments.

who wants to take me up.....250000 points three months after the introduction of this class system with blues and reds the tourneys are hard to fill ....open for the taking ...all u guys who have been making this stink really wanna win general tourneys and u know its true ...problem is u cant win by keeping mediocre horses ....put your money where your mouth is....

Not sure how much time you have on your hands but with over 10,000 active horses i think time could be spent more wisely. I personally don't care what horses i go up against as long as i know my own horses and can classify then i know where to place them. I'm also done helping out other trainers filling tournies as i usually get my ass kicked (doesn't like ass being kicked) LMAO

Off Topic...if this wasn't an issue then it would just be something else to bitch and complain about!!

Your right Flyin Dikka, I should have put him in atleast a 10,000 entry tournament where he could have run 8th,7th,and 9th. When you grow something resembling a brain, get back to me. Look, what you people don't realize, is that there is a lot of annoyed players out there, tired of seeing a beast come in and swoop a low fee tournament. For quite a while, low fee tournaments were for low SR horses. That has changed dramatically recently. When Flyingdaaka gets PM's about people abusing the system, Flyingdaaka will check it out. Regardless of the accomplishments or the respect of the trainer in question. You want to enter low, the community shall know. And as mojok said, he could care less if you like it or not. Flyingdaaka agrees 100%.

But you know what, there was a time when Flyingdaaka would stop before entering a tournament, and consider whether or not the horse belonged in it. To hell with that crap. Now, its "right in you go". No more pondering or questioning. Those days are long over.
