Modgraphix Stables made a tough decision to retire Billie Jean today. She certainly surpassed all expectations. Billie Jean calls it a career at age 6 as the #13 place horse on the top 100 overall list. She also leaves the game as the #5 horse in total wins with a record of 46-20-12-4-2-2. Earning $3,225,000 and 747,280 community points with 4 tournament wins. Her heart and determination showed consistanly as she didn't lose form until 2 years past her peak. She will be missed but always remembered.

She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene
I said don't mind, but what do you mean I am the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round
She said I am the one, who will dance on the floor in the round
She told me her name was Billie Jean, as she caused a scene
Then every head turned with eyes that dreamed of being the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round

So sorry to see that great horse go.
I looked at her record and wonder why she only had one tournament as a 3YO?

Kinda weird .... First song i heard today on the way to work and it's been in my head all day lol. Tough decision to make on such a hard knocking slop specialist. Great horse, she deserves a spot at old friends :)

Just wanted to thank everyone for their comments. It was a tough decision but i wanted her to go out on top which i think she did somewhat. She was still running 145 sr in the slop but with no tournaments with just older horses she had to run against younger stronger horses which i didn't think was fair to her because i knew she was giving it all. As for only one tournament as a 3 yr old she seen the vet and i pulled her out of one. In the end i think i made the right decision for her.
Thanks again!!
