I would like to see a something here similar to how the jumps racing season is here in the UK. Obviously not jumps racing, but how the season is geared towards the Cheltenham festival where all the top horses meet to find the best of the best.

There are prelim races throughout the season which attract decent horses. If these horses win or run well they earn the right to run at Cheltenham and compete for the top prizes. You have the best 2 mile hurdlers, the best 2 mile jumpers, the best 3 mile staying hurdlers, the best staying jumpers competing for the ultimate prize, the Gold Cup, and many more.

Here we could have a similar tournament(s) which could offers big prizes and status to the winners. The best sprinters, mid distance and stayers all competing for the ultimate prizes. The 'HRF Gold Cup' for stayers for example. The trainer could get a unique badge for winning, and would have the option to keep the horse back to compete in the next tourny to defend its crown maybe, and go down in HRF history! There are lots of possibilies.

Horses may need to have met certain requirements to enter the prelim tournies, prize money earnt for example. A think a big tournament like this would be great for the game. All the best horses meeting up at one tourny to find 'the best of the best'. What a spectacle that would be!
