USA v UK (europe) for Ryder Cup Type Challenge

What do you all think of a competition similar in style to the Ryder cup of golf. We all enter horses to represent your own country in different categories. They then run in a series of tournamants for points (Dirt, Sand, Turf etc) in a transatlantic challenge. Just imagine the interest in members when one of their own horses represents their country. I think it would raise a lot of interest.

i dont think you could run an event like this without including the likes of sundown, suncity and slavedave, perhaps even the rooo might make an appearance. so it could either be usa v rest of world or knowing those from the southern hemisphere - they wouldnt mind it being usa v europe v southern hemisphere - anyway - dont know the logisitics behind it - but would be interesting

This is a very good idea. How would points be paid out? All accumulated points from race/tournament wins shared between winning players/team after the challenge is over maybe?

They could all be G1 Races and points could be awarded for every racenot just the final.The trainer with the most wins in the tournament could be awarded a big points total and a special USA V Rest of the world badge.
