Any prior posts you refer to were PMs to you. NEVER tried to hurt game or community and everyone who has been active here for the past 10 months knows that.

Once before I sent pm to you about 1 horse in a final. You called me to discuss. This was far less than that incident and you react this way.

Things don't always go our way, as players, and it can be frustrating when you have a good horse that runs badly. I have always thought Dbacks was a good guy, but I can understand why you took the actions that you felt were needed. People like this game because you guys (HRF staff) usually do listen to our suggestions and gripes. I know I have said things here in anger, but Puddles and I have spoken on a few occasions, and I can tell the rest of you that his heart is in the right place. This is a business, and it is just a game. We can't always win, and sometimes things do happen that seem to make no sense, but, that's horse racing for you. Mike has assured me that everything here is fair, unbiased, and not tampered with, as far as racing results go. Some people seem to win everything they enter, even with a horse that shouldn't win, but you never hear them complain. I had a horse run the second best 12 furlong time, which is a still standing record I believe, (Claiborne Chestnut) and though I wondered how he beat the field that he did, I never voiced my displeasure or said this game wasn't fair, or that it was rigged. It is horseracing, and things do not always work the way we think they should. Rachel Alexandra should never have lost her last race, but she did. People do need to keep these things in mind. This is a business, and I, for one, am glad we have the voice that we do. It's cool to say what you think, but what other game takes players opinions as seriously? None that I have found.

I don't even know who this person is and I got the same PM. Being frustrated with results sometimes is normal (I was extremely frustrated last week as some may recall. lol), but calling someone profane names in a Pm to somebody you don't even know is uncalled for and is clear proof that he is trying to disrupt and disparage.

I too am a very faithfull member of this game. As far as being lovable, well like I said, "I too am a very faithfull member of this game".

I had no idea what the issue was, so the whole "puddles is a liar" thing was a bit of a shock. I'm not sure I want to know what the issue is, either. This just seems to be irreconcilable to me. I don't take sides in too many issues I know noting about, opting to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt. My experience has always found puddles and the team to be attentive and helpful as well as very honest. It's a shame when things don't work out sometimes.

I guess my aussie buddy"SLAVEDAVE" has'nt told you yet i am very FOXY...LOL.

Dabster: Dear Puddles, I think probably, it is the intensity of of the game that causes the problem, when you put loads of time in and it don't go your way it bites, if you are an intense personality then it comes to the boil. A reality check is required, it is like racing its self, a great triviality, horses get beat and even the great trainers on occasions are at a loss to explain why. The effort that yourself and Piyush put in on my behalf is testament to your devotion and integrity regards this 'game'. Keep the faith with Much Respect Lorcan. (Dabster.)

I just wanted to say that i think this is a great game and loads of fun,i am enjoying myself a great deal and would like to say keep up the good work.Dont let sore losers get to you.We cannot win every tournament we enter,what fun would that be.Anyway like i said before keep up the good work.The best racing game on the planet.Take care.

...working in the intensive care unit, caring for people who were facing their own mortality. The one with a failing heart and a surgery for removing a tumor was brave and cheerful, and working hard to do what they could for themselves. One in pain, and had disturbing test results, but even as he struggled with his own fears, he remained polite. We got lots of admissions, and some of it was hard, emotional work.

And during the breaks in the action I checked my email and saw the posts as they progressed through the night, where folks who were just spending money to play a horse racing game had let themselves get so frustrated and upset that they lashed out at other people they could hardly claim to know. It just made me sad.

I hope everyone has a better day today.

There was about 5 post that appeared stating the same thing. So either Dbacks1 hit start new post and said the same thing 5 times or there was a error in the system.

THE BOTTOM LINE IS HRF ONLY WANTS US TO POST POSTIVE COMMENTS. ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS WILL BE REMOVED.

Thats doesn't seem fair to me. You cant keep blocking out peoples opinions even if you dont agree with what there saying. I never heard of companys removing post. Everybody should be allowed to speak there mind.

I was the one that started the thread about being frustrated with tournaments (and i was and still am) but it ended there for me after the original post. I will ALWAYS voice my opinion but then i leave it there like i did with this post. I was also the one that deleted this same post as the negative responses by this individual in my opinion were uncalled for. I have been a long time member here and talk to Mike (Puddles) quite often about many things. I can tell you one thing he is more then fair to everyone and is always here to help. I applaud him and his team for their dedication to the sport and this game. I consider Mike a good friend and one thing he does possess is "INTEGRITY" Mike...I'm one of many that support you and this game!!

Flyingdaaka is hereby officially requesting that HRF widen the Nad Al Sheba track and have a huge, 50 something or whatever is in dbacks stable insta-claim derby on a straight-away. After all the happy crappy badges are given out to the winners, then the serious business begins. Claimed horses could be announced. Come on guys, what do you say ??? Why not give Flyingdaaka and others a shot at some his stable, when they are just going to be grazing and larding around in a defunct stable ???? Flyingdaaka will even volunteer to announce the call of the race, and will attempt to call the entire field at some point during the race.

Jbcri obviously just had a bad breeding session.....another.......Sasteve, after the insta-dbacks tournament, Flyingdaaka will then go on a mission to drive Sundown to the brink, and when he has his nervous breakdown, an insta-sundown tournament will follow that. Follow Flyingdaaka's plan and before you know it, Sasteve and Flyingdaaka will be powerhouse stables !!!!!

I all so posted on modgraphix topic that day about tournaments but I carn`t recall what the person said in regards to the topic. I understand mikes point of view in which he has said in the past that neg post will be taken down and repeat posts will all so be taken down. But in saying that I did not read the dbacks post so I carn`t really comment on it..

And dakka post on claiming dbacks horse`s , I think both parties will work it out between them , if not , then the horse`s will have a nice retirement.

Very nicely said Frosty and Suncity. I posted right after Frosty did in Mod's thread, so like Suncity, I just kind of skimmed through the other posts. I didn't really pay attention, so didn't get what the post was all about. I also got his pm today, Then looked for the thread. It was gone, so, I replied, saying I really didn't understand, and that I couldn't afford to lose my stable. It is between him and puddles in my opinion.

puddles-you have always tried to help me with any problems I have had and I appreciate that. But could we have some more 4 yo and up tourneys?

I think what was said by dbacks was something about his horse losing in a finial beeing the fav , I`m not sure how the horse did in the pre lims , but in a finial anything and everything will happen and the best horse does not all ways win. Just like in real racing... I owned a share in a race horse i don`t no if you have jump racing in the usa , but anyways the horse won a race by 400 meters or 2f over the race distance of 3200 meters or 16f. The next 4 starts the horse had come last , second last , last , 7th. as was a $1.20 fav each time.

You all so got to think to your self this is a game we play this game to have fun and enjoy the game , have a chat to people from all around the world. A horse carn`t win every race not even lord out can win every race it`s in , does it really matter if a horse has a loss form time to time. Yes there is money involed in the game , and some people take the game far to serous because of it. You have good days in racing and bad days in racing at least on hear you can just enter the horse into a new tournament and get over the fact the horse lost. Real racing you spend millions buying shares in horse`s some turn out to be donkeys others turn out ok , and some times you get a great horse and when that great horse goes down in 4 - 5 million dollar race and you no that horse is 10x better then the rest of them and the form says so as well and can not run on the day , then that`s some thing to get upset about...

I don't agree with Dback's outburst and how he handled things, making so many different post about same thing and same topic wasn't the right thing to do, i think Dbacks will see at some point he went about things the wrong way, i don't blame Puddles for defending his hard work.....i am sure the 2 can talk when the dust is settled, clear things up and move on and we can welcome back Dbacks because he has been a good guy and friendly person, we all handle thing in our own way and we learn from it so i am hoping to see Dbacks back soon just hope Puddles can secure and protect his stables until the 2 talk, this is your hard work Puddles and he is your customer take care of both its the right thing to do.

I might say some harsh things from time to time and if this is one of them i mean no harm, with that said we also need to understand that it's not only Dbacks who feels that way i know a lot who are not feeling good mainly about how the finals are run including myself, i don't think anyone else has taken the beating i have in those finals and Puddles knows this we have talked about it. We need to balance out things and be honest with our opinions, some of us who have posted in this thread feels the same way Dback does but we never went this far and with time if this continues more people will.

I am not going to throw Dbacks or any other community member under the bus, his problem is legit his handling of this was classless and we have to understand that we can't keep beating up on our own members because then we will never get our point across, we been asking for finals to be fixed and they still haven't been, this part of the game is what EVERYONE looks forward to, its the main focus and what we want as players...as long as people invest time and their $$$ this will continue and will get worse if the problem is not fixed.... i dont think Puddles fixes the finals, he has a good side to him and i don't think he really knows what the problem is or how to fix the finals YET, my opinion is the high consistency which is just way too much or scaling....anyway Dbacks you need to have a talk with Puddles and clear things up and hope he takes care of your stable during that time.

What would be a fix to the finals? to make sure all of the obvious favorites win?? I like you a lot , you know that, we talk somtimes on chat, but if we make it so that the favorites win all the time , you might as well just race on paper rather than the race.....Racheal Alexandra just lost not long ago, and she was the DEAD favorite, was something not set up right for that race too ?, cause who would have picked the horse that beat her ?? I think the horse that beat her was a big longshot wasnt it?....not fighting here ,just asking a question and throwing a few tid bits to munch on :)

I don't know what happened in this situation, but we all need to remember this is a game. No need for name calling, and totally uncalled. Dbacks1 was and is a friend of mine in the game, but I think the right thing was done here. Dbacks, I agree with Sundown in that if you take a minute for both of you to calm, and then email, or p.m. puddles you will eventually be allowed back in the community. Mike has always taken care of me, and seems to truly care about his customers, and always listens, his manner may be unconventional sometimes, but always has the games best interest in mind. I also agree with Dbacks main complaint about the way finals are ran. We have been told it is gonna be fixed, and I have faith that it will be, it just can't come soon enough.

Favorites in real horse racing win about a 30% clip. The Favorite lose 70% of the time. What I last remember from Mike, the game is right on par with that.

I just had a day where I had four finals and didn't hit the board with any of them. I thought all had a shot to win...I've also had weeks where I felt like Pletcher, I won everything. That's horse racing folks, whaddya gonna do. ---It wouldn't surprise me if hot and cold streaks were built into the programming.

i never said anything about favorites should be winning, that would be wrong way to do things, so need to go back into real life racing to point things out to me its getting old and boring, read my post and dont take it the wrong way, someone making a point does not alway equal selfishness and i think we all like balance.

What I mean was , if all the horses make it to the finals, dont they all have a chance to win the race ? Or am I missing out on what you are saying sundown, because you do make some good points .....Maybe the weights are unfair you think? Im not in the finals much, so I really dont know.....maybe its like ronwar said and puddles has mentioned b4, the programing might make horseshave off days, and it seems to happen in finals more because those are harder on a person to lose those...

So I expect my horse will win tonight its rank #8 in this tourney. I have a 70% chance winning over the favorite, I'm glad I'm not the favorite.

Rage quits are fun for the whole family :) But you would think a dback's fan would be used to losing by now right?

If there was only one reason for a horse to lose the final, then maybe HRF could balance/adjust the switch, but the truth of the matter is there are many reasons for a horse to lose the final:

• off effort,
• went wide,
• lost to better horse,
• competition runs big race,
• doesn't like inside,
• doesn't like outside,
• blocked,
• bad jockey,
• bad break,
• weights,
• or any combination of all the above

I just got smashed but Mods horse earlier, , the race b4 that my horse ran a 119 sr, and this race only a 98...so Im sure that if there are more talented horses overall in the field , your horse is going to run a much lower sr....and maybe the workouts in the race effects the outcome as well.....In my barn I have to really fast sprinters, when they race together in a race, their sr's are around 110, but if I take out one of those speed demons , they usually run a near 120 sr....so see, speed does kill lol

Yeah Bruno, I'm STILL pissed about Claiborne Chestnut. The one thing I wanted more than anything was to put my horse in a situation where he could run a final at Belmont, 12f. He was made for that distance and track. Should be no losing there. And so finally I got him into that position... and YOU AND YOUR HORSE SCREWED IT ALL UP!!!!!

I'm now going to start five threads complaining about a final from last September.

I don't know all the facts of the Puddles and Dbacks1 issue. But, as a newer player to this game, I'd like to comment about the game itself.

HRF is the BEST game on the 'net. I've tried other online games, like digidurf, but they don't have the "reality" of horse racing. If I had a question or concern I got a reply weeks later. If I asked the community maybe I'd get a reply. The "owners" of the games never replied to me. Thus I lost interest in playing those games. The games themselves were "fake" looking. Everything seemed rigged to me.

Like I said, I've tried the other online horse racing games and they all suck. HRF is VERY realistic to LIVE horse racing. As it should be. The Community here is Fantastic! Very helpful :-)

I do not believe this game is "fixed" in any way.

I've worked in the "the backside"- in the real horse racing world and this game is the closest to "real" horse racing you'll experience- short of being an actual trainer, owner, or jockey. As in real horse racing, sometimes you can't please everyone no matter what you do. Sometimes it's best to agree to disagree.

As for breeding a horse-in this game and in real life- it's a crap shoot- some get lucky first time and others just have to try harder. Same thing for jockeying/betting and racing the horses.

I'm a newer player to this game- 4 months- and am in no way an expert in playing it. But I do enjoy it and the people in the community. I enjoy talking to people who are interested in this game and actual horse racing as much as I am.

Puddles and company are constanly looking for ways to improve gameplay for everyone. I salute Puddles efforts (and the other people who make this game go!)

As for Puddles every time I have needed help Mike has been there quickly and has always been the best.I did not know Dbacks but always seemed helpful to others and was a top competitor I hope they can step back take a look and resolve this.I think we all need to step back when we get upset take a deep breath have a drink and think of what we are doing or saying before we post something we may regret later.Maybe send a PM instead of sharing with others right away,if you are having a spat with your wife better in the privacy of your home then in the middle of a dinner party..... I understand the frustration at times. I'm sure we've all experienced it. I know I have. But, I am opposed to someone's selfish attempt to sabotage the game and developers and all their hard working team. This not only hurts the business. It hurts all of us. Think about it. This should be between you and HRF. Leave us out of it. JMHO
Puddles, you continue to have my support for the best horse racing game out there. You've been there for me and sooo many. I admire you for that.
In the "real world", when the financial collapes happened in America and the World, my daily investment losses were higher than most folks pay for rent. I come here daily to get away from the daily stress of real life. You accept your losses and move on. I could cry, but I won't. Everything works out in the end.
