gone are the good days... solid horses like Misty, Lucy, LO, Allegedly, Historian and few others are gone, when you saw those horses in tournaments first things comes to mind is "oh &^%$@#", i know someone who bred a 127 by far the best horse they have ever bred, raced it on all surfaces against the best he had in his stable a 118, i asked him how the training coming along his reply " sunny its depressing, my new 127 has yet to come within 3L on any surface against my 118 and is also getting beat by most of the donkies i have in my stable".

The client will fix none of your shortcomings, Sundown. You fix them yourself. The reason why horses run as you say "40 points below their SR 90% of time" is because trainers like you don't know how to place them properly. You get impatient and give up on your horses too easily, and head right off to that breeding shed looking for answers. If you get to know your horse thoroughly, the horse may be able to perform. You probably don't even look at horses with a SR of 110-115. Fact is, some of them can beat SR 125-130 horses. The game is heading the right direction, becoming more of a training game, as it is advertised, as opposed to a breeding game. You want the SR 130 to beat the SR 125 every single time. Make life easy for you. That way, you can rifle-breed and eliminate any horse below a certain SR and feel good about. Sorry, not where the game direction is heading my friend.
Astute, patient clever trainers like Flyingdaaka can take a horse that you give up on, or just want to get a cheap insta-tournament win to pad your stats, find out where they can excel, and succeed.

I talked with Puddles a while back and he told me 140+ are near impossible to breed, now if you or anyone got lucky and got one now that 140+ who is near impossible to breed does not eqaul near impossible to beat in tournaments and that to me is not right when you take the odds of getting one in my opinion...mouse over the alert badge and you will now see you can breed SRs ranging from 60- 145, my question is what happen to 145+, seems as if that was changed and no one post about it to let members know there was a cap put in place because we do have 154 - 149 - 147 bred before.

The problem is that you are right Dakaa as far as the direction the game is going and i guess you should know right being the alter ego of someone, the game is heading in a direction where they do want to pull the top stables back and put the spenders on a close to balance playing field with everyone else, they working on balancing this more than anything else and sure its going to piss some off, this is all guessing on my part...the problem with HRF is that they do not know how to communicate, most times its the high flying what's to come without specifics.

its funny Brian, he claimed a few of my horses yet does not know how to train them, biggest laugh i got was the fact that he claimed a 115 slop horse i put in a slop tournament Jagged Egde won then said the horse is no good and getting blown away, well i am sure it would if its a slopper and you have no idea what to do with it after claiming it right after it won its slop insta....dont pay Dakaaa any attention he is a planted fly and btw, a few people has asked when am i going to take him out for coffee cause he does have a crush, best i can do is hire him to work around my stable...OUTSIDE, would never trust him inside.

Puddles response- If you mouse over the breeding alert badge what it says is "normally" between 60-145 this is normal BUT this does not mean you have to get a horse exactly between these numbers. Horses have gone into the 150 range before and they will again. That is why the word normally is there. If this was not the case we would have said WILL BE between 60-145.

Super horses are waiting to be Born but like I said they are very rare to find and will remain that way . If you breed a 130 he can get beat by a 120 horse but another 130 horse can beat a 140 horse just as well. You are not going to find Mark 105 horses beating 135 horses very often unless you just have the better horse(135) in a totally wrong racing condition and the 105 fires the race of his life or maybe the 135 horse has not yet reached his full ability in the game or maybe he is way past his prime .

The horse of the year lost Saturday to a good
Grade 2 horse but in no way a great horse . It happens and it happens every day in racing .Same in our game. Great horses in our game may stay great their entire life or they may be great just -1- 2-3-4 racing years . They may be great on and off over a few years or entire racing life as well.

A player won a tournament last night with a 2 year old that fired a 60 SR his first race. The horse was breed with a much higher SR number(over double) . The player was confused and had the right to be. He tried some other training tecnique and the horse now has won 3 races in a row including a BC final yesterday.The horse was programed tp get better over time and he is. The 3 races are still below his Birth SR number but much closer. The point is the birth SR numbers mean only so much and this is what I have said all along. The game will see plenty of great horses in the future. Their Birth SR number of a great horse in our game may only be 125 (like the mouse over says on the breeding badge) or 155 or some number in between. Who knows some may have raced already and are just starting to take off . Thats the fun!!!! . As far as leveling the playing field goes maybe you need to read my blog again from 2 weeks ago.

Wells Fargo Other horses seemed stronger and better , Doesn't seem to be his best distance to race at , Speed figure indicates this horse has some talent, may need a different group of horses to race against

I think its confusing, if its possible why not just have it say 60-160 because up to 150+ SR was bred so its possible, we know horses over 145 can be bred why not just say it so even new members will know, if it can be done and has been done just let it be, is a 175 possible? we don't know, things around here aren't specific, as this goes on harder questions will be asked.

I understand reality and comparing this with reality is unfair, the horse of the year gives it 100% you can tell the consistency is there any idea how many people here would take her wins and losses, its not here not even close, here 95-98% of horses run maybe 10% of the time close to their base SR and some never and when i say close they are still 10-15 points off, i would settle for 50-50% compare to what is there now, i think its a 80-90% inconsistency rate right now, has any horse ever ran right around their base SR or even 10 points up or down for a tournament or 2 this includes prlims?, i am not being a smart ass or want anyone to take this the wrong way but it seems backwards to me that horses throws 3x more clunkers than true to form races...i am just asking why is there consistently such a wide 20-40 points gap in all horses performance...i saw on badge alert someone few days ago got a 139.7, almost a 140, now this horse will never consistently run 120's muchless 130s SR but will consistently run 110 - 115 SRs even if they find the right surface.

I think it says that in the client ? Correct! 1) Plenty of horses will run their top speed ratings or even higher in the perfect race conditions .This is why we call it maximum Speed Rating and not your horses Avgerage speed rating. Either know the facts or do not say anything please. There are so many factors that go into SR numbers. The horses trip in a race -the pace of the race(if your a closer and the pace is slow your horse might be dead for this race) -The horses like or dislike for the surface,distance and even track type(shape) let alone track surface condition and there are other factors as well. The SR numbers are a guide line Mark not the end all tell all. Do you know a SR difference of 12-points in a race can be less then 4 lenghts depending on distance, track surface and track variant? Do you know if a horse is 3 wide the entire turn at certain tracks he can lose 3 lenghts or more . I read a post today from a player that said he breed a horse that runs higher SR numbers in tournaments . This is a quote from Suncity from another thread. This is not uncommon at all.

Maybe everybody should get sr140 horse and we will all race it on a track that holds 300 horses and at the end of the race when 299 sr140 dont win there going to be alot of unhappy people wanting to know why their monster sr140 didn't win.

Can anyone help Sundown out ?? It is clear he has minimal understanding of the game. Perhaps he should call on the services of a mentor to help him out. Instead of fighting and arguing with Puddles, thus reducing the amount of attention going to new upgrades, features, etc, the mentor can try to help him with his confusion.

This started out as a post by Flyingdaaka relating to issues with Wells Fargo and Slavedave. You two had to come in and chime in about foolishness. Now, when Flyingdaaka responds, it is considered "harassment". How you clowns connect the dots there is beyond Flyingdaaka.
Why bring up Motron, he doesn't train, doesn't jockey, he was reduced to making quirkly remarks in the forum. Clearly, there were issues there. Leave him alone.

Now, The Flying One will address the silks thing....LMAO. This is where the true paranoia has come in for sundown. Flyingdaaka has been a long time member in HRF. It is only recently that he discovered the training game. Flyingdaaka, since his inception to HRF has always had the same colors and designs. He would occasionally change them before he started playing the training game. However, he has not changed the silks or colors since he started playing the training game. It was only the other day, when Flyingdaaka had a horse lined up in the next post position to Sundown's, did Flyingdaaka become aware that they had similar silks. If you do not wish to interact with Flyingdaaka, then stay out of his posts.
