This running wound up to be a minor surprise. As I usually try to do, I did 20 runnings, with the Breeders' Cup points ratings used for Grade I races (10 for first, 6 for second, and 4 for third). The results I had, with the number of in the money finishes and point totals were:
Just Rushing 11-3-4 (144 points)
Kip Deville 6-10-2 (128 points)
Ventura 0-3-9 (54 points)
Rahy's Attorney 2-0-4 (36 points)
By far the most frequent order of finish was Just Rushing-Kip Deville-Ventura, as that trifecta finished in that order seven out of the 20 runnings. The only other winner in the 20 runnings was Mulmur(!), in a running where Ice Bear finished second and Just Rushing finished third. Enjoy, everyone. Those of us who are fortunate enough to get HRTV on cable should enjoy this day of Woodbine racing, though I have to admit I will only be sneaking peeks while watching the NFL. (This is a tricky time of year for those of us who like watching football, too!)

Yesterday, I ran the race several times ( 6 races ) and except for Kip Deville winning it twice, it seemed like it could be anybody's race.
When I tried to ride Kip Deville a message popped up saying that once I ran the race, I don't have this option. Later that night, to my surprise, I was able to ride Kip Deville I controlled the pace and won easily.
I'm not sure if this is correct, but I thought I heard that he has been off for awhile. This is a surprise to me. I thought he ran recently. My, how time flies.
I'm usually not too keen on horses that have been rested, until they have a race under their belt. Especially at short odds. I also read that favorites don't often win this stakes race. With that said, he could be beaten today. However, if he runs his best, he should win convincingly. JMHO I wish I had that horse race channel so I could watch. Chantel's horse did poorly in every race that I ran. I like pro football too. Of course, I'm a 49er fan. Come on, Kip Deville. You can do it.
