Flyingdaaka uses a different standard to measure stables. The minimum percentages any stable should have is 15% win percentage and 50% Top 4 placing percentage. If Flyingdaaka views a trainers stats and they do not hit this threshold, Flyingdaaka quickly dismisses them as non-factors in the game.
Of course, a decent sampling is needed, maybe 50 to 100 races run. With all the pool horses and 5 horse races, this should be reached by any trainer with minimal potential in the game.
Anything below 10% win percentage and 33% Top 4 percentage, Flyingdaaka begins to take offense with their existence in the game.
36 horses 111.18 average SR. Although I have a couple of real slowpokes that I'm probably going to retire. I haven't tried everything with them yet. After I make the cut the SR will probably climb up a couple of points. That being said, I've won over 400k points with horses that have SRs under 110 so it does pay to train them before you turn them out for pony rides.

I have 45 horse i think. I have about 5 that are 125 or better and I dont keep anything under 100. My average is probably about 113 for my whole stable. The Big Dog stable is dismissed as a quality stable I believe due to a paltry 8% win clip. I think my in the money % is decent though. The Big Dog stable wil get to the bottom of this and heads are going to roll. I think I will fire the owner and breeder.
Wow everyone is so open here. Troy you must know something we don't (Maybe Horses here run Better here with extra fat). Ace of Spades Stables with 55 horses ranging from 104-138 averages 118.7.
ModGraphix,i am so glad to hear from you my man,you know everybody wants you to feel better, including Sundown.I'm poking him for ya,lol
I'm sure he appreciates that :)))
Thanks alot and oh yes Sundown will love you for it i'm sure :) Bet he really misses me...lol
Anyway's get those mules outta that dirty, disgusting stable of yours...Surely that White Feather mule needs some exercise by now :)
Seriously...Thanks Again!!
In just a matter of about 2 1/2 months, no doubt, the quality of horses has increased dramatically since this thread was started. Flyingdaaka believes most quality stable's birth SR averages above 120 in their barns by now. The shocking reality is, this game will soon reach a point where many horses under 125 will no longer be competitive and anything between 125-130 will only be mildly competitive.
Claiming is no longer the answer, as you almost will never find a horse entered in claiming races within these birth SR ranges. With auctions not going forward, the only hope to survive is to breed until you get a stable full of monsters. That is, unless, you are as clever as can be in the game.
Incidently, Flyingdaaka's stable birth SR right now is 112.85. How much longer can The Flying One hope to be competitive ??
Flyingdaaka doesn't believe it. Well, then again, you just retired that 145 SR horse, Allegedly, so that will bring it down. Better get that mojo on in the breeding shed.
As the trainer game goes forward(it's barely a year old), it's going to get tougher and tougher to stay competitive.
Everyday there are high birth SR horses being bred, as anyone can plainly see. So eventually there'll be thousands and thousands of high SR horses. IMO, it'll make the game even better.
Before, there were only a lucky few that had horses over 130, so victory was a given. Now, and even more so as the game progresses, victory will demand a little more skill.
We all know that birth SR isn't everything, but I would say it's 80-90% of the horse's success.
Horse placement is probably the most important part of the trainer game, which I'm still learning.
But let anyone get a 140+ SR horse and see if they can't win with it. Not a knock, it's just a fact.
FYI, my Stable average SR is 92.3, or is that my favorite radio station. I can't remember.
I agree it is much tougher already, better horses being bred and smarter trainers. Placing is everything as now i'm seeing 120+ horses in 2K entry fee tournaments so you can only imagine what horses you encounter in the larger tournaments. As for my stable i have a couple in tourneys that will be retired no matter the results and my best is yet to race :) My stable average is 120.6
It will probably even things out more than they already are. Most everyone will have pretty much only 125-130 horses in their stables, since those with lower will be unable to compete. The game will surely become more expensive if you want to compete. You will need to breed a stable full of these types of horses. That is how it will evolve, and it won't take long.
The comment about anyone being able to train a 140+ horse is in question. We've all seen the mess Redterror made with his. Poor thing is afraid to enter it in another tournament, LOL !!!...Not a knock, it's just a fact.

This was actually intended as a joke, because I didn't think anyone would be willing to give the info.
But since so many of you have, mine at the moment is 26 horses/117.5.
And I assume the daaka was joking as well, since his own win and money percentages are well below the criteria he listed in his post.
