I also had an auto adjustment and points taken back, honestly, I don't feel that it is our fault and the mistake made should not have cost us and should have been considered HRF'S problem but, it is what it is.

I had an auto adjustment yet I didnt collect the prize money!!! I claimed the horse that came 3rd in insta 81. The previous owner collected 30k. The Auto adjuster tells me it should have been 18k and deducted it from me.
Thats an expensive 10k claim.
Dont think I will be taking that one on the chin.

Are you saying the prize points was shown before the tourney? I thought they just awarded the extra points but you are saying the prize pool when you entered was inflated?

The prize point was shown BEFORE and AFTER the race as 170K to the first, I also wrote it to flyingdaaka just after the race when he thanked me for the horse that he got from the claim won.

Just so we let everyone know, there are issues with the payouts on insta-tournaments. The payouts in some instances are almost double what they should be. For example, if you look at Insta-Tournament 107 - 10,000 Claimer, you'll notice the prize pool was 61,875 points. The math on this should have been 11 entries times 7,500 community points each, which equals 82,500 less 25% house take, which equals 61,875, which is what the prize pool indicates. But, when you look at the payouts, they are substantially higher. The error is being caused by the fact that insta-tournaments recreate themselves. When these insta-tournaments recreate themselves, they are adding a percentage of the original purse to the payout. When I say 'original purse' I mean when the insta-tournament ran the first time. Most of these insta-tournaments run each week.

The issue will be resolved tonight and there will be a modification and adjustment in accordance with what the payouts should have been. So, for example, in Insta-Tournament 107, the winner should have received 37,125 community points. This adjustment will be made. We're telling you about this so you can prepare. Players who over-spend winning points may have their account taken into the negative when the adjustment is made. The adjustment is not being done manually. It will happen automatically after midnight tonight and will affect insta-tournaments going back several days when this problem started. The program will correct itself. It's a security measure that we have in place.

This does not affect jackpot or super-jackpot payouts. For example, in Insta-Tournament 107 (the same one mentioned above), the winner was an FN horse and it was a super-jackpot tournament. Therefore, the winner did receive his 50,000 community bonus points. Again, those are unaffected.

If this was not an automated process that occurs every Wednesday at midnight, we would just say it's our loss and the player's gain, but the process will run automatically when the backup program takes effect. To try to interfere with this process would cause even more issues. We just want everyone to be prepared who will be affected by this.

That monster is roaring in his stall, can't wait to get back out to the track. He wants a better group of horses to circle around next time, but it will be for Flyingdaaka !!! BAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAA HAA HAAAAA !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi - Here his your horse history in question . You can check this out yourself by pulling a history of any horse you want that you own from your stable page. This information will show that you entered the horse in the tournament in question and was paid the points . You might me mixing this up with another tournament . Please reveiw your transaction table below as well as the horses history page and you will see this is correct.

The horses name in question is Breakawayspeed- The information below is from his history page .In this race you won 3rd place and was over paid points .

Lele, with all due respect, you have had your chance to decide where to enter the horse. We all saw how that worked out. Now, it is in the responsible hands of Flyingdaaka. Flyingdaaka will decide in which races he can race from this point on.

For me, it's a nightmare. When I learned two weeks ago that the insta-tournaments were paying out way beyond the mathematical formula set up, I thought I would just take the loss and move on. The issue was supposed to have been corrected, but the adjusted code never took effect, and for the next two weeks, insta-tournaments continued to pay out massive bonuses - some in excess of 300,000 to 400,000 extra community points.

The first thing I did was check the terms and conditions relating to malfunctions, and it clearly states that malfunctions void all plays. With this, I immediately implemented the changed code for insta-tournaments that have not yet started. A new safety program that runs once a week to verify tournament payouts, protecting the company from hackers or other issues automatically adjusted the overpaid tournaments last night. I felt that the issue was then resolved.

I mean, in all honesty, we all know the formula for insta-tournaments - number of entries times number of points less 25%, the rest gets paid out. So I said to myself, why would anyone have a problem with us paying out what was supposed to be paid out and deducting the malfunction overpayments? I was thinking from a business standpoint, not from a personal individual standpoint.

With that said, after talking with several people I trust and believe in who have supported this game from the beginning, I decided to go ahead and credit all of the overpaid points that had been deducted from last week's insta-tournaments. For the last three hours, the team has been manually putting the points back one-by-one. If you're involved in this incident, you will receive a private message. Once you receive that message, you will also notice in your transaction table that the extra points due to the malfunction have been reinstated.

Furthermore, not only have we reinstated the points, we have also reinstated the points for the 54 insta-tournaments that are showing inflated payouts and have not yet started. At this point, all in, we're talking about 10 million bonus points being given away for a technical malfunction. The adjustments we have made are not a representation of mangement actions that might occur in the future and in no way should this incident be referenced when future malfunctions might occur. Malfunctions are malfunctions. Last year, my bank credited me $21 in error and two days later deducted that amount. The way I looked at it was that it was never mine to start with. Though this situation is a little different, because there is an absolute formula on how these tournaments run, I'm sure there are plenty of players who entered them just looking at the prize pool and not noticing that there was a malfunction. I'm also sure there are plenty of shrewd players who took advantage of the malfunction, as well. With all of that said, I have to worry about the guy who had the honest intention of entering what he thought was a legitimate tournament with a legitimate payout. This issue is now closed.
