Hello, I have a problem here, I had 3 horses in 25,000 claimers tonight to which 2 of them were claimed, they were non nominated horses, I got credited 8,750 each on the claims, does that seem right to you? Unbelievable, I think something is wrong here! So, I paid 20,000 points for each horse to enter in that claiming race and also got charged over 16,000 each on the claims? Not liking this anymore!!

as a non VIP you get 35% of claim price.I think it is way too high but that is the way it is set up. Even a VIP only gets 45% !!!! Sorry man but you can read this in the get help section....Stan

Unbelievable, I am done with the claiming business and if these fees keep getting higher I am out of here completely, this game is supposed to be fun and entertaining and now it is getting annoying, the fees that are charged make no sense, doesn't cost that much to run a website, I have a few of my own which are not related and I won't mention the names but it does not cost that much to keep a website going! I am furious!

Just get rid of the claimers Mike, doesn't do us any good, just costs too much!

Thats the genius of it? Lol, you drunk? What do you see genius about the high costs for entering tournaments and claiming races and the end result? You trying to be funny but you not making any sense, wake up!

Not everyone feels the way you do anthos, I agee that the takeout is wayy to high but you do not have to enter your horses there, let other people wholike the claiming game enjoy it and you could stay away no sense in just taking it away from those who like it

Hey General, what do you like about it? The high costs to enter the race? The end result of your horse being claimed for 25,000 and you get back 8,750? Come on! You not making any sense here, if you guys keep agreeing with these ridiculous high costs then this game will not exist for more than another year! Think about it! Everything you do here costs way too much, whether you are breeding or entering races, its a LOSE LOSE situation!

I am fed up, I have about 19-20 horses and thinking of retiring them all now, was having fun in the beginning but now the costs are just too high to stick around, this is not the way of doing business!

The claiming game should be for everyone, it should benefit us not the owner of this website, it costs too much to enter and then your horse gets claimed and you dont even get half the claiming price, whats up with that? Unheard of! I understand, I don't like it then don't enter, yes, I agree, but why should it be that way? Why can't it be fair? In real life, when your horse gets claimed, you do not pay fees, then why do we pay so much to enter a race? Why do we pay stable fees? Whats going on here? Everyone brainwashed?

I definately do not enter my horses in claiming races for that simple reason, the takeout is wayy to much but I do believe that you can get deals by finding a good 10k claimer that someone throws in in order to get some points. That's the beauty of it for me, claiming not getting claimed

I agree the advantage right now is with the claimer and not the horse owner. We will see how long that last....Stan

General, you are a cool dude, no offense, I just feel its time to complain, I don't get it, I spent money here, I really did, I run out of points and keep purchasing more, I contribute here, but the costs are way too high and we need to complain, perhaps go on strike? Mike is a nice guy but enough is enough! I really don't like the high costs for something that doesn't really cost that much to run.

i agree to you, your cool dudes its cost too much we are all willing
to spend money but the problem is it is not worthy so may be we
need to think wise do not enter on that kind of tourney okay......

There are many reasons why the claiming structure is set up the way it is . NN horses were never even going to be allowed into insta Tournaments. We allow them to enter so claimer races(insta tournaments) can fill. The prices of the horses were raised(.25) so the non nominated horse could enter the claiming tournaments and some percent would be returned to the player . Below is the return structure for the different level of horses . Keep this is mind if your horse was a full nominnated horse entered into this event and you were a VIP you would have gotten back 75,000 points. That is a 75% return for a horse you may not want to even have in your stable.
I Looked at your horses . I think I would have entered them in 10,000 claimers at best where they would have had a better shot at winning the purse and earning points . Then after that I would have looked for a nice easy restricted tournament where they can race against other low level horses for big points .
In the old game these 2 horses would have had to been retired with no shot to win anything. The new features give you options BUT you have to think those options all the way threw .
The claiming game can be your friend or your worse nightmare . Please also keep in mind you never have to enter a single claiming race at all. Below is the info on claiming. First here are a few simple rules I would follow when entering Insta Tournaments
1) Never enter a horse over it's head (high price insta tournament)- The entry fee is not worth it .This is one way we protect the integrity of insta tournaments and insure some good quality horses in these type of events. This also gives the buyer some sort of shot as well to get a decent horse when he puts his points up and claims a horse. There have been some great claims because the purses are worth the risk of losing a so -so quaility horse. Top breeders may enter good horses just because they have to many top horses in their barn and they want the purse money from these insta Tournaments to go buy more horses
2) If the horse is real bad just retire it -Insta tournaments are not the way to go . You will just throw away good points after bad .
3) Use insta tournaments to qualify fo big restricted tournaments if your horse has some level of skill and needs to have at least one race on his record
4) Find the perfect condition Insta tournament - do not settle for anything less. There are so many Insta Tournaments each week you can find the perfect spot . Just keep looking.
5) When entering a Insta Tournament keep in mind you can lose the horse to another player . Never enter a horse that you want to keep .
Each Insta-Tournament is identified with a claiming price. The claiming price represents the number of community points that your horse could be sold for during the Insta-Tournament. If your horse was claimed during an Insta-Tournament, you would receive the equivalency of the claiming price less a percent of the claiming fee. This percentage for VIP members is 25% for fully nominated horses,40% for partial nominated horses and 55% for non nominated horses. For example, if your horse was in a 100,000 Insta-Tournament, you would receive 45,000 community points at the end of the Insta-Tournament if he was a non nominated horse. For For Non VIP members the claiming fee is 10% higher at each level.

dont play with fire if you dont want fingers burnt, if you would of won then you would not be moaning plus if this game is to expensive for you find somethin else that you can afford, there are levels stick to what suits your pocket .

Nothing wrong with venting Ant,we have all had our times of frustration, usually after a loss or in your case a 'sale'(K-Mart Blue light special)
Insta's are there for a reason, making money is not a main one

It amazes Flyingdaaka, with the specific clarifications listed in the help section, that people still come in here and whine and moan after things don't go their way. There have been many, many posts and threads about claiming races, plenty of info to allow you to know what you are getting yourself into.
It is clear that anthos has a stable management problem. Perhaps he should consider becoming a VIP to get 6000 points a day. That will help to stop some of the bleeding going over there, some, not all.
Of course, like drinking and driving, one shouldn't drink and HRF at the same time either.

These fees were no secret when you entered your horses into these claiming races. Why complain after the fact? Should have read up before entering the event. Live and learn I guess

Before I venture into any phase of this game, I weigh all the facts. And if I decide the costs are too high, or I'm on a tight budget, then I pass. If I decide to spend my money and lose, this is my decison and I blame nobody but myself. It's up to each individual to read and understand before spending money. The costs of running a Web site is one thing. The costs of running a business is another.

i have a question if i may,,,,,,,,if u claim a horse that is in the 7 day grace period for stable fees, of course u inherit the claiming price along with the current stable fees due. but what if the horse was born on jan 1 ,and is entitled to 1 month till his stable fees are due .and i claim him on jan.7,,,,,do i get the previous owners courtsey or do i owe stable fees according to the horses birthday

All horses do not pay stable fees the first 30 days. So the answer is no fee would be do because that horse was only 7 days old.
