15 Kentucky Derby's, I'm envious.
I've been to Churchill, but never on Derby Day. Hopefully one of these years.
I used to drive trucks and I'd deliver to the big UPS facility in Louisville, so on my downtime I'd go to the track.
Glad you could join us ! Loads of fun and good folks!
At least you have been to Churchill vasdef, it is such a majestic place especially for a horse racing fan. I have been going to CD since I was a kid and later work as a chef in the Finish Line Suites. No matter how many times I walk in to the place, I get a special feeling. I guess it just the history of the place and knowing your entering one of the most famous buildings in the world. I hope you can make it to a Derby one of these days.
Welcome to HRF and our friendly forum, where we all help each other to learn and enjoy. I've been here sin Augus 2008 and am so glad that I found my way here. Keep in mind, even us regular longtime members are still learning.
The trainer part of game came to us in July 2009. Soooo, it's not as though it's been here forever and that we're all experts. Even the top guys and gals share and learn from one another. If I could give some advice on the trainer portion of game, it would be, read everything posted by staff, ask, and keep asking questions. Get a mentor. Practice...practice...practice. Above all, be patient and move slowly. The members that are on the top now, got there through lots of hard work. It doesn't happen overnight. LOL Good luck and welcome aboard.
Welcome ChefJeff!
I've only been a member of the HRF community for a month and I love it. This is the BEST Fantasy Horse Racing Game on the 'net!
If you have any questions about the game you can read the tutorials, get a mentor to help you learn the game, and/ or just post questions in the forums.
Everyone in this community is VERY helpful with advice and tips and will answer your questions.
I hope you enjoy HRF! Good Luck!

Hey Motron...... Even though I work in fine dining, I can cook some mean fried chicken. It's kinda requirement being a chef in the state of Kentucky. I drive by the KFC headquarters a couple of times a week and Colonel Sanders is buried about a mile away from the restaurant, so I'm constantly reminded of the legacy of excellent fried chicken.
I love KFC......I had a white suit too just like the Colonel..Had the nickname........ " Colonel" for a time as a result..When the first KFC restaurant opened in Auckland, NZ in 1973 there was a line of customers 2 miles long waiting to experience Fried Chicken for the first time..It was on the National News, there were traffic jams and the chicken ran out........I have 10 of the 11 secret herbs and spices does anyone have the 11th?
Sorry....Hope no coffee stains on your gear...Whats the difference between an Owl and Emerson? Nothing they both stay up all night......!! (oh the addiction of HRF)
I drink my coffee black, so it stains, but it's not sticky, and doesn't start smelling bad. And it doesn't leave as much of an aftertaste if someone makes me laugh at an inopportune time.
And YOU, emerson, you go back to your 12 step program right now, do you hear me??????
Hopefully, they'll have a computer hookup there...
