Kinda Modest there are we hehe. I'd say your one of the best!! There are a few that could win any tourny at any time depending on the draw. Micmac, Garylim, Motron, Skillet, Batibot, Batabututa, Lele, I'd even put myself in that category on a good day :)

I am the best, I think nobody can beat me at the moment, and that's why I don't take part to tournaments.

I am the world record holder with this new version (816PPS).

I only take part to 3k tournaments, and only IF I am invited.

If you want to challenge me, just create that 3k tournament and invite me.

If i create a 50 point challenge for all to enter, would you willing to enter as a lot of the top jocks are non-vip? To be the best, you have to beat all challengers and your welcome to try. I'll even donate 50,000 community points (via challenge buddy you choose the horse ie Wells Fargo / Lord Outstanding) if you can beat beat all competitors as long as there are a minimum of 12 entries.......

HRF should start a monthly jockey tournament for the top 10 jockeys by pps for that month with a big points prize.I think you would probably get alot more players actually entering the jockey tournaments trying to get in the top ten for that month.Would be interesting i think,just a thaught.

I love the idea of a once a month tourney or a weekly that is sponsered by HRF,i CLEARLY remeber MIKE saying HE WOULD DEFFINATELY SPONSER a weekly Jockey tournament when the new client hit.Well Mike?

I think the idea of a monthly jockey tournament with decent points for the top 3 jocks would be very popular.

Im not really used to the new build, but always love to enter win, lose or draw. Chris is definately a top jock, along with many others. Any player can win on the day, and im sure 600pps will not be enough to win this one......

We used to have a BIG weekly HRF sponsered Jockey tournament,now all we have are empty memories and unfulfilled promeses,lol

It is different now,i find less whip is more whip,if you catch my drift.

The horses are much more sensitive now and will quit on you in a second if rode incorrectly

Emily is here, we are on holidays in Malaysia near the Thai border learning Muay Thai or Thai kicboxing. She also kicks butt in training and also hasnt had the time to play the jockey game since the new build came out.

Probably me, but I don't like to boast. LOL Just kidding Actually, I don't ride in tournaments so I have no statistics.I have lots of fun in private mode and do quite well there when jockeying. However, most of my time is in the trainer game. I have to learn all this new stuff.

I'm in but have little chance of posting high cause I had to reinstall yesterday and have no pps info. I rarely used em with the old build but rely on em alot with the new. Of course I'd never earn my daily points if it weren't for the jockey tournys though. So lets get it on.

There is an advantage with reinstalling in that you sometiomes get better horses at better pricesits just remembering which ones were good.

Thats true, but the years of fast hard living seem to have clouded my memory and advanced my attention disorder... what was the question again?

Reinstalling and Techniques, couple of reasons why I dont join tournaments. Does there always have to be "ways to win" in jockey tourneys? ... I really wish the horses that you had to ride were random, that would cut down on Techniques and Cheesy ways to win......I wonder if in real horse racing you can reinstall real horses or use Techniques to win ? Is that how Alex Solis wins his races? prob not....puddles, please add a new feature in the future, random horse riding in tournaments, this would cut down techniques and reinstalling issues....Ok, time for the same 5 people to jump on this comment, ok ready....set.....post!!!

Maybe one day they will come up with a way for everyone to ride in the same races at the same time. Then you would see some jockeying.

That would be a great Idea. Then the only problem you would have is people blocking on purpose. It would be hard to design a program that penalizes on purpose blocking in that type of racing...actually if they would just have a special tournament button on your game that is totally separate from the quick start button would be good, a button that is only active when the tourney starts, then it randomizes your horses in the 10 race fields. Real jockeys have to ride who they can get, they just cant say, "hey im riding this horse this race" , they have to be picked from the trainers or owners for them to ride their mounts...

They need to have everyone in the tournament ride in the exact same races and i agree you should not be able to re-install and basically start the game over.Mike knows who is doing this repeatedly and they should have to run the 500 races for most wins over again too

Tell me what happens to me if I ASSume? I dont have to assume the obvious. Its already known... If the game itself would assign the jockeys horse in tournaments, then the only blame would be the randomness which I can live with...Trainer tournaments are sometimes pretty random also with the weights and post positions so, I think it would be a good Idea myself....Like I said earlier, Jockeys cannot in real life choose their mounts, why should we? unless your just in quick start mode just trying to accumulate your 6000 points, but tourneys should be random rides

I would be ticked if I had to reinstall my game, and had to lose my pps I think it would hurt must good jockeys here. The 1st week of the new build my pps was around 190 I think, and a couple of weeks ago which was the last time I was actually running for Points per start (Trying to get my 25 win badge last week) I think it was around 320-330...all because of past performances. I don't see an advantage or cheat to reinstalling your game unless you have a way better memory than most.

I also like the idea of everyone in the tourny having to choose from the same horses at the same track and under the same conditions for their 10 or whatever # of races the tournys set at. But I would still like the option of choosing the mount because I think forcing everyone to ride the same horse might actually create to much parity.

I like that idea of everyone having the same rides for tournies or something to an even playing field.Right now the 'Draw' has a big effect on your score.

I still don't think there is any cheating,what's the point?How would that be fun for anyone?

Yeah, I agree. The luck of the draw has alot to do with it. Nothing worse than getting sprint after sprint.

Told Puddles about the re-installing 4-5 months ago. My puter crashed and lost all downloads and had to re-install.
Once you've run a number of races, its easy to know the top form of a certain number of horses. Re-installing adds 25-50% to your average pps--probably even more to start with. My experience shows that there is then a dip after a few hundred races, when some new horses that rarely race are introduced, but this is levels out a few hundred races later.
Its also the reason i'm against multi-tourney entries being run at one time.
I believe it to be a flaw in the game--once you've run a thousand odd races there is a limit to the highest pps you can achieve in tourneys as all the horses are now rated as they should be and their odds are generally more correct than at early races. The more a horse wins and performs well, the shorter the odds of that hore becomes. At this point one can score higher with second and third place horses. In the same way, by racing numerous tourneys at the same time, you keep the number of races run down, thereby giving yourself the chance of getting a higher pps. In other words, the game favours those that have run fewer races and handicaps those that have been using the game for a long time with a large number of races. I have written about this before, with few comments, but stand by what wrote.
I rarely enter tourneys now as a result of this--don't believe loyalty or experience should be handicapped like this.

I agree totally with you RR,the problem is HRF doesn't make enough money on Jockey tournaments or more attention would be shown to it.

Maybe after all the updates and new features Mike will turn his attention to the faithful Jockey group.

We need more HRF sponsered tournies and a big entry fee for HRF,but first it still needs to be fixed.

I couldn't have said it any better ....The jockey part of this game is great, but until those things are fixed , I dont think you will see many joining tournaments....every tournament I look at after it ends has the same 5 people in them, with the same PP's leading the way. I think a whole lot more people would join, knowing they have the same chance as everyone else without worrying about the cheese ball gaming the system thing going on. Make it fair, and I would love to join myself, I have never got to enjoy that side of the game yet totally because of some shady crap going on every time. Multiple Nuclear wins must go!!, and somehow fix what horses we ride in them too...we all ride the same horses, or make it all random generated assigned mounts once the tournament starts..
