Did anybody have a claim on the horse that ran 8th? SR 33..

hey how is DOC going? hope you dont have it heading for my tournies. lollol

I had such high hopes... and then she ran her first slop race with an SR of 124.80.
If you saw the race though it was quite impressive... she got shut in on the turn at Calder... didn't leave her much of a run-in to catch the leader - but she got 2nd.
Very ordinary SR for a slop race, I know. I only got a reasonable workout before the race - so there is a little improvement to be had there. And the race was only 5.5f - and she gets faster over further. And she finished with loads of energy left.

Still, 2nd place in her first race sounds good... so I'm looking forward to her 6f race tonight. She has PP 12 at Calder... gives her nearly 3f to get over to the inside rail - Id like her to drop in behind as she has a hell of a kick... but she likes to stalk/lead - so I want her to get shut in again really!!

Calder is not the ideal track to showcase her talents so I'll be happy just placing for now... then I hope to catch the leaders at CD!! The longer back stretch seems to suit her.

I still think she will win me my first tourney... would be nice if it was this one!

both entered in tournys stating 8th, stunna,(doc's half bro) gave me headaches yesterday. i made a miss take in advance thiking i was playing with my new cow and adjust the target speed back to 86 over 5f( insane but testing only) well when they jumped this horse bolted away 10 lengths clear after 2f, IT WAS STUNNA,i thought ohh crap wrong horse.. LMAO,, anyway when the 86 target kicked in he stopped, let 3 go past and took a lovely sit behind them, with 3f to go he peeled out and started a run home pulling away on the line by 2 lengths...against community 3.0 horses on dirt,fast.
his SR came as 95 but now running consistant 100on fast tracks.
he might just be a nice horse after some tourny trianing even tho low SR... got a little hope for him... he is in the "that's the spirit) tourny starting 8th... (86 target speed over 5f srint? INSANE bt he loves it) work that out for me ron....all the others had target 98+ and only 3 passed him full race, but he came back and won it... INTERESTING.
the other horse,, well mmmmmmmmmmm we will wait see.

I think you'll need a bit of luck with that stunna.
I suppose if nothing gets past it when its running with a target speed of 86 it might mean the horse was running it's own race and ignoring you!! That's what all of mine do... I really don't get the jockey instructions! In fact, when I change the instructions for Doc she appears to do exactly the opposite... and that's everytime! Obviously a stubborn mare! I've thought about using that in a race... I want her to hold back so I might issue "go faster" instructions... it feels silly, but in private mode it works!
If she qualifies for the final with races to spare I might try it.

I hope stunna develops well for ya... I suppose with all of these new races and - as you've pointed out - quite a few donkeys seeming to be around you have a chance of avoiding the monsters.
Doc will prolly stick to slop - only runs around 100 on fast, but over 140 on slop - so you shouldn't meet her.

Be careful with the jockey instructions - I often find I run an SR of 20+ below normal when I try and go faster or slower... but I'm still learning so I could be doing something else wrong!

You are correct RON.. both my horses came with report saying (stubourn, wont listen to instructions) well thats a crapper because races depend on these instructions right? so behind the old 8 ball before i even start.. lmao
Anyways i have found the same thing but in advance. if i use faster or slower he pulls his head and goes center track at 100m/hr.. not stunning for stunna.. lol lol.
If i choose run normal he always runs to the other settings i make, like save ground or target speed.
I see it clearly as i use the f8 camera on my own horse to watch speed level and energy left..
I notice ,as you know, he jumps and bolts the first 2f.. I cannot change this fact, however when i set target to 86 he stops like he died and effort bar drops to 50% until the 3f to go then he takes of again.
I am thinking to myself that it is very possible for horses around sr 95- 100 to actualy win tournaments if they are frontrunners (left alone) or stalkers ( with no traffic drama). because its very very very possible all the flyers get caught up in traffic out the back and midfield.
I do think this could only happen over the sprints also because 5 seconds of bumping will loose you the race over 5f.
over the mile or further good horses like DOC have plenty of time to get out and go for home in the clear.. ( also the track as you mentioned plays huge part)
