Del Mar is not as interesting a Saratoga racing . But I good one none the less

I've only been to Del Mar once and enjoyed myself very much. I was by myself and spent the entire day video taping everything in sight. It's a nice track for the locals and tourists alike to spend a day with their family in the summer time. It draws the crowds and many wear shorts, while others, especially the good looking women, dress up. Fancy hats and all.
Big Crosby and Pat O' Brian(sp) started the track back in 1937. I remember in the fifties, when the trainers used to take some of their horses down to the nearby beach and let them swim in the ocean while on long lead ropes. This would have been fun to see. It was good therapy for the horses. It's not allowed today.
