My craziest race

I took Man O' War to Australia to run in the Melbourne Cup - 2M on the turf for 3-up. I had him run against the Community horses and I let the computer pick them.

I was the jockey and like to let the My horse run at their own pace out the gate, then I adjust depending on the pace. Usually Man O' War breaks on top and I slow it down if I can, in any case he's tough to beat. This time out of the gate he broke dead last and never picked it up. I started to rush him up but I saw they were going a blistering fast pace 22:3, 45:4, 1:10. I'm thinking wow that is fast for a 2M race.

Anyway, I'm some 35 lengths back with 6F to run when I start giving him a tap or two of speed every half of furlong. Man, he started passing horses like crazy! I ended up winning by get this...53 lengths!!! I thought that was just amazing and wanted to share. Does anyone else have a similarr experience?

I've done the same thing

I've ran the Melbourne Cup with Ghostzapper and Barbaro. Ghostzapper won by 36 lengths and Barbaro won by 48 lengths.

sydney cup

Just ran this race with Man O' War and won by 45 lengths at 17-1 that is the shocking thing, heck he was 6-1 in the New Zealand Cup and 7-1 in the Melbourne Cup. And this is against the community horse's.
