I have to agree with you as far as the past performances go. I don't like competing at anything unless the playing field is level. I know this isn't a democracy but my vip vote is for hooking the non vips up with a full pps. I think most vip s would agree that they don't want or need a jockey handicap.
I just got dialed in with the new build yesterday with a 590 and now there isnt anyone to play with.

First all players both VIP and NON VIP can only create 5 jockey or betting tournaments per day.The limits were set for several reasons as we prepare for new features that tie to the jockey and betting events. Over 70% of all jockey and betting tournaments are built by non VIP's so to say you can not find any tournaments is just to hard for me to believe .

Do we want paid members -YES . It is not like we overwhelm our FREE users with advertising or spam emails . So how do we make a living? Our paid members are the reason free players can play and no one should forget that .

We provide great entertainment at a very modest .33(VIP) a day or good entertainment for non paid members . You can create 5 jockey or betting tournaments a day and enter as many as you want and never pay a dime .We give you 1500 community horses to race and the ability to earn FREE POINTS from game play , posting in the community and doing free offers. I am not sure what the issue is.

88% of all support emails come from non paying members . It costs money to respond to everyone of them.

This is a balancing act for us and yes we care about all players BUT we know the players who help pay the bills .

All quality points. My comment strictly concerns past performances cause it seems like such a small part of the game. Unless you don't have it.
Of course if its part of further evolution then we'll just bhave to wait and see how it pans out

It's a business, it's how the creators of this game earn a living and keep it going and improving it. Without the subscriptions of the VIP's they would go out of business and we would all lose this game. It's just the way it is.

If you choose to play free you can within the limits of that free play. If you want more then you can become a subscriber and get the benefits of a VIP member. The monthly cost is $9.95 per month and comes to about .33 cents per day. As a VIP If you earned your daily 6,000 points that comes to .60 cents per day and that's .27 cents more per day than the cost to play daily. You can buy points and other things at the shop at discounted VIP prices and have lower stable fees for your horses. You can even get the game at a discount through the Shop under Subscription Services (got to remember to put that one on my Christmas wish list) if you buy an annual subscription. Also, by becoming a VIP you get 99,500 free bonus points which is equal to $9.95.

You don't have to stop playing as there are many players that are not VIP's and continue to enjoy the game, but if you want more you can have that too, its just a choice you need to consider. Hope you stay around.

Your horse Biggian is doing very well in the Sloppy for Acevedo tournament and is 4th on the leader board and with one more race to run your horse can move up higher on the leader board from his current 4th place position. Your horse should easly make the finals of the tournament. Good luck in your next race and in the final.

Although I truly enjoy ALL the players whether they are VIP or not, I must say I personally have no sympathy from non-VIP's not getting the extra perks. I wont elaborate but there are players that contribute MUCH MUCH more than just the $9 VIP fee because they really enjoy the game. Show me any game online or otherwise where we can all have personal relationships and play the game with the developers. I have never seen a game where the support and the devs are as personable as this one. So I don't mind at all contributing what I do. I suggest just becoming a VIP and fully enjoying the game with the rest of us! :)

I share some of your sentiments. Jockey tournaments often are hard to find with a level playing field. Anything that keeps it level should be maintained. With so few filling up each tournament why should non VIPs be limited to 50 pt tournaments. I set up a 550 pt tournament with 407 pps and only 1 person entered, oblitz.

Part of the issue with Jockey and Betting tournaments was trust. From the start players kept gaming the system. I think it will take some time now for our players to feel confident that the jockey and betting tourney's are fair . We worked hard to cut out all the bs because we think the tournaments are fun and can add a lot 0f value to the game . Next week will start special VIP tournaments with cool bonus prizes . We have built a inventory of cool items we want to give away in these events .

Cool! I just put two tournys. Look for Dekalb County Fair. They are max 190pps and highest entry fee allowed. One is 15 races the other is 10. Should be some good points for the winners and no 200+ pps jockeys allowed. :)

Can't wait for the first post saying that someone is "gaming the system" also with this new build.... it's a matter of weeks, we are already over 400pps in 10race tourneys after just one week of life

First the guy with 400pps has also been under 200pps . We track every race and every tournament from every player . I have over 40 triggers for alerts . If they hack the system they are going to be breaking a numeric code . Also the scoring system will put them at a level where they can not play against anyone .

Its not as easy as you think . Good jockey's will score high but no one can score high consistently .

I think the Jockey and Betting tournaments are in good shape . I an sure there are some good hackers that can break the system but if your that good your on the wrong site . Go visit BofA .com (LOL)

I'm starting to get better. Not near 400 pps yet but I'm going over 100 all time and got up to 212 this week. I'm slowly progressing. If there was a way to "game" the system I'm sure I would have figured it out by now. Thats how I roll! lol. It seems very fair to me, I have noticed no exploits yet.

Sorry Puddles ,but I doubt whether the betting tourneys are in good shape . I think the current set up is not working and no one is playing betting tourneys. As previously discussed on vickyruths post and you stating to give it a few weeks, I would be interested in some stats or how the game has improved. Thanks.

I didn't game or hack the system(I speak for myself), but was accused to do it repeatedly, why wouldn't this happen again...? we'll see

I think with the new updates that there is a level playing field now in these tourneys. I have created the MicMac Challenge which should invite 95% of keen jockeys that would like to win some good prizes if we can get enough competitors. Just getting a feel for who is interested in spending 3000pts for entry.

In the past if you purchased so many points I think it was 200,000 they gave you the past performances. Not sure why that changed. I am a non-vip and I have spent money purchasing points numerious times. I have not entered into a jockey tourney in a very long time, but thought I would donate my points tonight even though have no chance with limited PPs.

PP's -If you purchase a VIP membership you get full access or if you buy a horse file you get full access.

The reason I don't get the VIP membership is not the money. I would rather purchase points when needed then feel obligated to play the jockey portion of the game for a couple hours of the day. If you were just given those 6,000 points per month and not just given the opportunity to earn them, I would already be a VIP.

I am a non-vip and I am doing quite well with the game. There are jockey tournaments out there that suits everybody and from the looks of it, you are doing quite well from being in jockey tournaments. I think there is just as many non-vips as there is vips. Nobody wants to get rid of you because there isn't tournaments for you to enter. I don't think you are going to hang up everything up you have worked for in this game. And think about your horses; they would be homeless too. They need you as their trainer. Visit the free points page and become active in the community. There are tons of different topics to choose from. We are all here to help one another and to have fun. I have created 4 jockey tournaments that are 50 community points and below 283pps. They start on the 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th. Check them out.
