Horses in race files nearly always the same
Hi folks, just wondering does anyone else have the same problem ?
When I am playing in community mode I know I can't select the horse to run so I choose to accept in the community the computer selects my horses, my question is do other people when playing in this mode nearly always see the same horses?
I have had nearly 150 races and I very rarely see new horses.
I of course do see different ones from time to time but mostly it will be horses like Tweedlebaum...Red Fantasy...Vanilla Gorilla...Real Steer...
Daisy Cutter...Bad Knight....and many more of the same.
I dont get to see horses like Curlin...Smarty Jones and many others that I have in my race files. I can only race these in private mode.
Do other members get more variety or is my situation common?
Just a small issue I wanted to add I was thinking wouldn't it be great if there were falls it would make the race more interesting and as with the whip, I notice that when a race is close between 4 or five horses all the jockeys just ride the same as with the jockey I am supposed to be, I think if we were in control of how to use the whip and not the computer that would be alot more real which after all is what the game is about.

Not sure what you mean about not being about to select which horse to run. I am most certaintly able to pick the horse I want to ride.
As for the horses, you'll need to buy (or earn with points) the data files for the real horses.

What I mean is I have purchased race files and have alot of different horses to chose from.
When I play in community mode my selection of horses to pick from is alot of the time the same horses I very rarely see different horses to pick from even though I have a few hundred in my files.
I was wanting to know do other people have more variety of horses when they play in the community mode, in the private mode their isn't a problem I can chose which ever horse I like.
It is only in community mode that my choices dont vary alot..

The best way to make sure the game in community mode provides different race horses is to adjust the race set up. If you set up different conditions from the race set up page then you can and will be given different race horses . When we build the community horses we build these horses with different racing traits(each horse has their own special features and ability's ) . If you want to keep seeing more random horses mix up the race parameters when you set the race up. Change the race age restrictions ,the distence ,the racing surface and any other condition you can. This should help big time
