Students can also find their own mentors by either searching the forums and looking for players identified as mentors and private messaging them to start a communication or from your Student Profile page, simply click on the Active Mentor List tab and review all the available mentors. Each mentor has a profile and talks about their areas of expertise, the days and times of the week they’re available. You’ll also be able to see a list of a mentor’s current students, past students and the student ratings given to the mentor. This information can be very powerful when choosing a mentor. You have the ability to interact with the mentor’s current student by private messaging him as well as reading the reviews that past students have given this potential mentor.

What have you missed, you ask? It looks like the top three horses right now are Lord Outstanding, Wells Fargo, and Misty Images. Anyone I left out, sorry, these 3 just look great. To his credit, brianshaw23 speaks only of his horse, Lord Outstanding, in a "As a matter of fact" way. He's not pretentious, he doesn't brag or gloat, which is the way it should be. Mod is the "Master of Humble", and apparently Brian has taken a page from his playbook-well done, and what a great horse you have Brian!
It should be pointed out to the beginners that Super Horses are not a dime a dozen. No one here is that much of a breeding expert that every time they breed a great horse comes out of it. I had a student ask me why, after he bought 5 horses, did he not have a horse like Secretariat. He said the really good breeders out there all seem to have one. I know this is far off the subject at hand, but you asked what you missed, so I'm tellin' ya. Trainers/Mentors need to be honest about their breeding skillls. I have used many of the same combos that the top dogs have, and yet still don't have a horse of "Super Horse" caliber. Don't say I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to breeding, because I do win tournaments, and races. LUCK, and LOTS OF MONEY/POINTS, have a lot to do with breeding a great horse. Someone pointed out to me that some of these "Top Breeders" spend hundreds of dollars on breeding. I don't know the actual numbers in dollars spent, but I see sometimes ten purchases in a row by one person! The point is, breeding a Super-Horse is not a special gift or great horse knowledge someone has, it comes down to luck and money. The new students need to know this, simply so they don't become disillusioned and quit after they breed 5 horses with no Super-Horse in their stable!
The new game/client has slowed down some horses, but seems to point out the consistent horses more than the previous build. Good luck and welcome back General!

I wasn't trying to diss him, as he whipped my horse (Claiborne Chestnut) in their last meeting. He just isn't as new as the other three-no disrespect intended!
