Will the new synthetic racetracks change the way we classify a true champion in its current context?
Yes, as more racetracks move to these surfaces, we will have to consider the best thoroughbreds on those surfaces as champions.

Just somethings that might make this a better game.
How about a post parade
How about a winners circle
How about letting us make our own silks that we would wear on all our mounts no matter what number.
On the pp's you have a spot for dry fast,turf,wet and syn. but no spot for sand. I love to run race at Nad Al sheba and would like to see how a record for them on sand.
I know this is more then likely not possible but how about a race caller.
In tournaments let the computer pick our mounts, instead of us picking them, that might make tournaments alittle more interesting.
If anyone else has any ideas please post them.

I think the team is listening....but remember they are a small shop and the only have a limited amount of resources. So they do have to pick and chose on which gets done first
Oh i do understand that, and they don't have to do any of these if they don't want to. But just some ideas to ponder.

Those are some great ideas, especially the post parade and the silks! lol In real life I handicap races about 50% on the post parade. It would also be neat if you could dictate how your horse(in jockey or trainer mode) should warm up for their race(with or without a pony, walk/trot/canter, etc.). Another great thing that I'm not sure if will be included or not is being able to watch your horse work in Trainer mode, or be an exercise rider for your horse.
the Silks , atleast on the trainers game coming out in the near future.....I would love to design my own silks, it would be nice to represent your own stable when u race your horses against other peoples horses...:)
OK here I go...On the theme of workouts I would love to see another option along side basic game called "workout" here we can set up race scenarios and run the horse in a workout.
Right now I run races of just one horse for 3 or 4 or 5 furlongs and use that as a workout. While it does the job on the pp's it also gets them an easy win

You guys have lots of great ideas! And, so do we. We'll soon be showing you some of them. Believe me, we are nowhere yet where we want to be with this game. We have a vision and we're going to get there. Sometimes changes will occur behind the scenes. Sometimes you'll see them on a weekly basis. Sometimes it will be a few months in between. But, they're coming and they're coming soon.
the closer to 'real' life racing you can get the better.....In the trainer game, if you can do most things you can do in real racing, that would be awesome.....
1. Silks
2. Train your horse (alone, or with another horse)
3. Pay for feed, straw, a weekly maintenance would be cool, racing fee's?....
4. Have people on here have to buy points , to buy claimers, or to breed, or to buy your own stable.....
5. Horse of the year candidates, have a breeders cup set up once in a while ...even a Derby...
6. Trainer rewards, breeder awards...

This isn't a big deal it's actually something I noticed a while ago.
When your running a race on the dirt and you look to the left you see the infield and it looks like there is no turf course. When your running a race on the turf and look to the right you see the grandstand and no dirt course.
It would be cool if you were to have it like real life where the turf course is on the inside of the dirt course. Like I said it's not a big deal, it's just something I noticed and never got around to saying anything.
