Hello everyone, my name is Jessica and I'm 14 and have been following horse racing for 4 years. =) I am an aspiring racehorse trainer and, with luck, will be a horse owner in the near future. My favorite horse that's currently racing would have to be Pyro or Better Talk Now. I've liked Pyro from the start and Better Talk Now was my pick in the '04 Turf and has been a favorite of mine ever since. I'm planning on watching these two year olds closely this year, and I must admit I have a soft spot for a filly called Doremifasolatido. Hehe, her name really sold me on her. Besides horses and racing, I also enjoy listening to and writing music, and writing stories(oftentimes about racing, lol). I can't wait to become part of this forum!

Welcome, Jessica! I think many of us were first attracted to horse racing at your age, or even younger. Given that there is a lot of debate over how horse racing is doing with attracting younger fans to the sport, it's refreshing to see someone in your age range join the forum. Hopefully you can talk a few of your friends into sharing your interest!
