A quick unautorized tutorial for new players
When you get to the race setup page there is an icon at the top which reads SWITCH PLAYER.
You are not actually switching players ,you are switching MODES.
tHE PROGRAM HAS SOMETHING BUILT INTO IT THAT ALLOWS ONLY 1 MEMBER PER COMPUTER.
Directly abovethe SWITCH PLAYER icon is which MODE you are in .There are 2 modes.Private and COMMUNITY.
To switch between the 2 just click SWITCH PLAYER.
For you to get credit for races run you must be in COMMUNITY .
Once in community mode make sure set up new race is selected.
Opposite that menu is another menu with 4 check boxes.
Select horses automatically has to be checked in order to run community races.
The remaining 3 may be deselected by your choice.
If you check all of them the program will select the track and distance ,surface and track condition.
If you deselect those,
another set of menus appear.
Here you may input what you want as far as distance,surface(dirt,turf,sand,synthetic)
Also select which class to run in.
When starting out,Stay in grade 3 or lower ie ungraded stakes or allowance.
Grade 2 and grade 1 are much less predictable and more difficult to win even if you have chosen a standout horse.

Ok I give up where do I find this "Race setup page" I don't know where to navigate to it. fact I need all the help I can get LOL

when you open the game and hear the the call to the post. Select "Continue". Now in the upper left hand corner there is a "Basic Game" button. Select. You are now of the 'Race Setup Screen". As noted by the band saying Race setup on the top.
This it the screen you can toggle race conditions or just hit "continue" to run a race selected by the game. To run in "Public Mode" Read the first post in this thread

Please clarfiy what you mean by this question? In game? In real life?
If in game, I see you ran a race? Is your questions answered?

I'm not exactly a newbie as I have had the game for a few months now. I am currently at #7 in 'Recent Hot Jockeys/Points Totals.' I have saved a number of my races and uploaded them to the site, but now I don't know how to access them on the web page. :P
How can i earn community points?
well I see you already have over 1000 pts....but you race or bet in community mode and you will earn points by finishing in the money. You can also earn 10 pts by posting on the board.
Non VIP members can earn up to 1000 pts per day. VIP members can earn 4000 points (maybe it is 5000pts) now per day...having a brain freeze

i always was in grand 1 . hehe this why was hard to win if i understand u , grand 3 is the easy to win ? well i still prefer grand 1 to training ,
