XP Service Pack 3
Long time player of Gary's game since the DOS days. Downloaded Version 2 demo back in Feb. and everything ran well. Jockeyed numerous replays of San Antonio H'cap with little trouble.
Downloaded version 3 yesterday, soon after installing new XP SP3 and the games graphics were n-u-m-b-i-n-g-l-y slooooooooooooooow. My CPU usage was 100%. After consultation with Michael and Gary who seemed perplexed, I decided to revert back to SP2 and game ran perfectly!
I tried reinstalls of both SP3 and the game to no avail, so I will stick with SP2 for now. Other than that SP3 behaved fine on my system.
Anyone else here download and install SP3 and is the game running well on your system if so? Don't know if there's a glitch in my system or a glitch at Microsoft.

I just installed sp3 for xp game works fine for me....i had to revert back to xp after using vista...something was curupt with java/ie and i coudnt even register to play this game... but now all is fine.

For the most part our horse racing program works fine even with SP3. This issue with sp3 has something to do with the individuals computer. We tested our 3d graphic engine with sp3 on multi machines and they all seemed to work fine.
Please update us with any new info on this subject .
