To any trainer out there to give you a little of my experience, Final Acceleration was absolutely CRAP as a 2 year old, despite being a 120+ speed rated horse, but I aged her to 3 years old and she's better by a hundred miles, she has gone 2-2 since aging from 2 to 3 and has run very very nice speed ratings.
Don't give up on your horses if they don't fire as a 2 year old, in some cases they will run true to form once you age them. But then again, I retired a 129, two 125s and a 124 speed rated horses today as a result of not firing at any age. They were complete busts... unfortunately they had no courage.

I got a really nice Final coming up, my horse Chocolate is in it, 5 wins in 6 starts, very very nice horse. The purse I believe is around 500,000 points including the VIP bonus... I definately need that one =]
And btw muzik, I watched the replay again, Final Acceleration looked beaten in the final 16th but just all of a sudden jumped to the lead at the wire, I thought my horse was going to lose =P

Nice win Shaw by Final Accelleration. Huge improvement at 3. I thought it was a 2 horse race with my horse, Silenced, and yours. Mine got stuck on the rail behind a tiring leader and pinned in until 0.3 left. Disgusting ride. That happens too often, but oh well...gotta roll with the punches. Good luck!

Thanks for the encouragement. I have two two year-olds that I was contemplating grinding into hamburger, sadly, because it'll be a couple months before I can breed a new one. So maybe I'll hang on a little longer. They're both 3 now, so we'll see....
