Got a quick question about the tourneys. if its a 200,000 point event, and the minimum number of entries is 20 with a 10,000 entry fee. I see where all the points come from, but it doesnt really make sense to me. so are these the totals no matter how many people enter or do the amount of points won increase with the number of entrants? If i were to buy the credits to play with, if the amount doesnt increase with the entrants, it would seem that in the long run, the deck would be stacked way in the houses favor, if i could use a poker analogy to describe this.

Yes and no. Some events have a fixed payoff and others will go up and down with the number of entries(as we grow this will be more the norm) . There are free tourny's with prizes for new folks but you have to qualify.
You will see events with 500k prize and a min of 20 entries for 20k in a case like that the house risks 100k community points. As the game grows so will the tourney's prizes and the pot ( prize pool ) will be adjusted based more on number of players .
Our goal is to run 10-20 events daily by end of sept with prizes from 50k to 5 million community points per event(look for the house to hold 15- 20% . on avg . Please also remember the house gives points away with free play all day long .
Hope this helps

I understand its just that if the total pool is 200000 and the MINimum is 20 for 10000 and its fixed, then 23 or 24 should be the maximum not the minimum otherwise the tourney needs to increase with the house taking a set percentage like your 15/20%. So basically my only complaint with the structure is the minumum player deal. If 40 players enter a tourney with the same structure as above but the payout is set at the minimun amount of players that is very unfair.
We are saying the same thing . Rt now the big tournamnets do not fill so we have to still put up the big prizes to get people to enter . In the next month to 2 months they will fill and the tournaments will be driven by the number of entries(the more entries the more points to win). You also have to understand we are giving away millions of points a week to the general users to help them build a base so they can play and save their points (tourney's for new people are free to enter yet they can win prizes). As we get more and more players we will lower the free point totals and this will allow the contest pools to grow with each entry . At the end of the day the community will be self supportive and we will not be needed so at that point we can take a fixed amount based on entries for all events . So we are saying the same thing
