What owner has the best silks, what are your favorite silks. I have a couple. Zabeel Racing International-yellow with red epaulets and red star on yellow cap. Shadwell Stables-Blue with white epaulets, blue and white striped cap. Team Valor Stables-Forest Green with Crimson Triangular Panel, and Phipps Stables-Black, Cherry Cap.
What do you think are the best silks?

funny thing is a never pay attention to silks so I would not be able to pick a fav. The only ones I recognize right now are the ones from IEAH, but I dont particularly care for them.
We own race-horses and our silks are Orange with a white slash and white blocks on the arms. My Grandfather made those 20 years ago.
My favorite silks are the ones from the IEAH Stables. With the blue stars across the front and back. And the two red stripes on each sleeve.
I love the combination of the silks of Singeltary and the bears c and listening to the group chant for him right above me at the breeders cup in 2005 at Belmont Park
i never really paid attention to silks either, the only one i would be able to recognize is one Barbaro ran under with the green and blue and white otherwise i dont know which stable they come from! lol
Green Mount Acres
I love Adena Springs, and so their silks are probably my favorite, that and WinStar Farms. =)
The Phipps family silks are sharp and I always liked the old Loblolly silks of Brown and Yellow too
I like Foxhill Farms, the silks of Eight Belles and Hard Spun. I also like Adena Springs and IEAH
I always pulled for their horses and liked silks.
Too bad that John Ed Anthony was never able to get back to the top after having to dissolve Loblolly.
Shortleaf never seemed to get moving.
Arazi had........ruffiano
I have good memories of the Allen Paulson silks- Theatrical, Arazi, Cigar, Azeri, Blushing John, Estrapade

In 1991, I got to visit Golden Eagle farm, near San Diego. They ( Maybee (sp) family ) owned Best Pal, a multiple grade 1 stakes winner and so many other good horses. Their silks are purple and gold, with a nice gold colored eagle on the back. It was quite easy to watch his "Lost In The Fog" whnever he raced. Not hard to find anyway, since he always had the lead. LOL
Golden Eagle Farm continue to breed and race lots of nice horses in California. I catch some good priced winners by backing their horses.
Mr. Harry Aleo isn't with us anymore, but his (Estate)stable is still racing under his name. I liked the bright orange color with the big "A" on back. He told me he chose the coor becasue that's the color of the San Francisco Giants baseball team. Mr. Aleo loved baseball and played himself, many years ago before an injury ended his career. He once pitched against Joe Dimagio (sp).
Wild Promises seems to be their best horse today, since Smoky Stover doesn't race anymore and the Fog is also gone.

Now I have to say the silks on Desert Code were adorable. Go search for pictures of the Turf Sprint champ and you'll see what I'm talking about :)
