The Ellis Park Thoroughbred racetrack in Henderson, Ky., is shutting down for good because of an anticipated lack of revenue triggered by a dispute with a horsemen's group. Geary said that because of a dispute over revenue generated from deals with advanced-deposit wagering companies, he decided to close the park rather than face the likelihood of reduced purses, a loss of horses brought in to race and perhaps an additional $2.1 million in financial losses. But now , its back and running so I suppose they worked it out for now :)
