With all the focus on the Haskell this weekend, I just now decided to run off a quick 10 races of the Mabee. I think the filly division this year is a very interesting one--very competitive. All 10 were raced as a spectator, with normal trait variability. This is fewer than my ideal of at least 20 runnings, but I didn't have time to do that many and still post this before the actual race. Again, I used the Breeder's Cup points system for Grade I races: 10 for first, 6 for second, and 4 for third. Here are the results:
Placid Lake - 40 points
Ransom Captive - 28 points
Three-way tie for 26 points: Green Lyons, I Can See, and Solva
For the record, Placid Lake won three times, Placed once, and Showed one. Ransom Captive actually only one once, placed once, and ran third three times. Green Lyons won twice. As for possible favorite Black Mamba, the best she did was finish second twice.

I had Solva over I can see. Well I did not win my bet :(
Well I didn't run any races I went to a casino where Il live and bet the race. I keyed Black Mamba over Foxysox, Passified and I Can See. Black Mamba won by a neck over I Can See 2nd and Passified 3rd the tri payed $143.00 not bad oh and Foxysox was 4th to bad I didn't play the super it payed $434.00 oh well.
passifield was clearly lone speed but in the game she was always near the back of the pack? last 4 or 5 vip races the pace has been way off then real time
