My day at the track...

It was "Fan appreciation day" at Colonial Downs in New Kent VA, home of the Va Derby. 25 cent admission, program, hot dogs, chips and drinks. I took my wife and 2 girls with me spending the day at the track, stay in a hotel then go school clothes shopping the next day. In the back of my mind I had thoughts of " Wouldn't be nice to win enough to get the $129 all horse file". About 5 min after I was there, I went to a machine to make my wagers when I noticed there was a balance on the machine ( a very substantial one ) . I printed out the cash voucher and took it to the manager. I gave him my number and said if someone claims a voucher and they know the amount I would give it to them. The manager said "let me hold it in case they come, after the last race if it goes unclaimed I will give it back to you." I said fine and gave him the voucher. Last race I found him and the voucher had not been claimed. It was $300.90 voucher. I had very good day on my own winning about $40. Needless to say my girls will get some school shopping done. A great day at the track. I thought my fellow race fans would enjoy this, its a great track story.

My day at the track

A good weekend for you + the family. I've been on both ends of the voucher left in the machine. I had a $50 day at the Meadowlands watching the Hambo + betting Saratoga + Monmouth. This is a great game.
Regards
