Horse Racing Fantasy Community

I like #2. I can see the most horses, relative positions and all. I use the default camera angle until I start needing to handle traffic though, cuz the horses look more like horses.

Of course, my pps doesn't suggest that I'm any kind of expert in this, so take whatever I tell you with a large block of trace mineral supplemented salt!

ps. love the emblem. Didn't know Voxhall existed till I watched Top Gear one day. What a hoot!

I like #4 because it puts you on the back of the horse but still lets you see the field ahead of you.

Vauxhall cars are my first passion they have been around here for years. Used to be known as Bedford and in other European countries Opel. Same as Holden in Oz all just GM motors really.

When you're a journeyman, you'll learn to use all fo the cameras, especially in re-runs, as a musician plays his/her instrument (s). I've been here around one year now and I find that when jockeying, the number one camera works best for me.

it's all A MATTER OF PERSONAL PREFERENCE--#1 camera for me--like in music--brand of guitar that fits your needs and tastes best--im a drummer; been for many years-professional-studio work--anyway~~ my preference--LUDWIG W/ ZILDJIAN cymbals--spendy,though~~ but that's just me- they are the best;)-lol-but..as for using cameras..i prefer #1..i use all--but--i keep track w #9 too and 3 throughout a race--going down the stretch--last furlong--#8..just think it's more fun and realistic. just a matter of taste.

Thanks for all the advice, looks as though its just a case of trying different angles at different points in the race and as with the rest of the game working out my own preference and strategy.

I had,20 yrs ago,a 13 piece black and chrome Ludwig,mostly Zildjian cymbals with a China boy low.John Bonham and Neil Pert were my inspiration.Just played local bars though nothing special.

Professional studio work huh? we are probably on Oppisite ends of the spectrum.I was told to tone it down a little when we playred Zepplin!

I have been working on camera 2 since the earlier post. I agree with the earlier post of using different cameras. After experimenting with #2 for awhile I can see some real advantages. I will combine camera 2 and 4. Thanks for all your opinions. It just makes the game more fun.

Camera #2 & #4 for races and #8 and #9 for replays. It is the coolest thing to select a horse and using #9 to watch his progression through a race especially if that horse is an off-the- pace runner, just flying past horses.

I use #s 3, 4 and 5 mosly. I start off with 3 then go to 5 so i can see a closeup of the horses around my horse. On the turns I will switch to 4 because it is closer. If I need a really close up I will switch to 3.

i use #4 most of the time, and occasionally the #2 depending on whats going on. :)

I like using camera view 2 (default) when racing and 4 when replaying the race. As a trainer or when viewing saved races, I use 8 or 9, just like how they show it on TV.
