Well I ran the Whitney pre built race and I have to say AP Arrow freaked with a Speed rating of 118....won by 6 lengths and after taking the lead 4 furling into the race never was threatened.
Commentator tired at the end to be nosed by Tasteyville. Guess I will be betting AP Arrow :)

By being the jockey I was able to win with 3 horses several times . This race does seem intresting . I love weekend horse racing for sure
I seem to recall someone saying they preferred to try running the race 20 times before making a bet. Well, for what it's worth I ran it 20 times simply as a spectator, not really watching or recording the speed ratings. (I was too busy watching the races from Ascot on TVG!). Using the Breeder's Cup point system of 10 points for a win, 6 points for a place, and 4 points for a show here are my results after 20 runnings with normal variability:
AP Arrow 114 points
Merchant Marine 86 points
Commentator 60 points
Tasteyville 44 points
Solar Flare 44 points
In case you are wondering, AP Arrow won the race 8 times, Merchant Marine won it 4 times, and Tasteyville and Commentator both won it twice with various others winning the other times.
I've yet to sim it but I hope Cowtown Cat can pull of a big win.
That was probably me who talked about simming it 20+ times.
I did it 30 times as a spectator, no jockeying, and AP Arrow won 19 of them.
I scored 10 for a win, 5 for place, and 2 for show.
AP Arrow 199
Merchant Marine 61
Solar Flare 57
Commentator 54
Notional 49
