I did what I normally do with Big Brown. I just put him on the leat with a modest pace. In most cases against Curlin, Curlin won't make his move to get by until the quarter pole so I won't let out any energy until the top of the stretch. Thats when I went full out and Big Brown blew by him.
Curlin is overrated IMO. He's a very good horse but gets too much attention. He's no better than a Dubai Millennium, Ghostzapper, or Barbaro from this decade.
